bananas

I've got a whole bunch of riped banans. Any ideas for making something with those. I need some good recipes so that my girls would eat it.

hi vidhyagowri .go for banana shake.take two ripe bananas . peel them.and put them in a mixie. add two glasses of cold milk or at normal temperature. add sugar as per the taste and ice cubes. start the mixie. it will make a wonderful shake , the banana shake. all of you will enjoy this shake especially the kids . they will ask for it daily. besides being tasty it is healthier too.

well i always do that, banana milkshake with milk. i also do banana split where i add the banana slices to vanilla ice cream. its gr8. try that.

You could make banana bread or bananna muffins. They are great for getting rid of old bananas and making a tasty treat as well. i think your family would probably really like them as well.

You could make banana bread, or banana muffins, or banana pudding :-) I'm not a banana lover in any way, but if made right - I can definately sink my teeth into any of these three treats! And they are always better with really ripe bananas as opposed to just ripe bananas!

Hi Vidhya
You can make banana roast. It is very simple and children like them. Cut one or two bananas into 1 inch long pieces and deep fry them in ghee. When the colour turn golden brown you can take it from the pan and serve.

I'm not sure about the season in your place right now. But you can try having crashed ice, cook your bananas in a sugar and water then mix it with crashed ice and I guess she will like it. We called it here, Banana Ice or Ice Banana. Or if you have some ice cream there, it is better, Banana Ice Cream, hmmm, yummy.
