Two more people murdered in an all-night bar!

Every day I hear this on the News, again and again. People being shot at an After hours Club at 1 am., or stabbed in the street at 3 am. What are they doing in a Bar, or on the Street at that God-forsaken Hour. If there was a way to get everyone in, off the Streets, and into bed at a decent hour the murder rates would all but disappear. Mothers need to be sure their kids are in, and off to bed at a decent hour. Nobody seems to understand that daylight is for being up and about, and night time is for sleeping. What time do your kids go to bed? Do you think its right to stay up all night? Is it worth the risk?

It is the same where I live, somebody is always getting killed. I think they should close the bars earlier at night. My kids are grown, but my three grandkids are young yet, they are in bed by 9pm. I see a lot of parents letting young children hang out at all hours of the night, what the heak is wrong with them.

What is the reason Bars are open all night anyway? If everyone was in bed at night no one would need to drink. Nobody is thinking about the needless loss of life these Bars are supporting. Would the country collapse if these all night places were closed at midnight? This is a Terrible waste of Human Life!

So true I agree with you, there is no reason why bars should be open all night, I don't believe in the old days that they stayed open so late. Why city officals allow this is beyond me, knowing what can happen, but here is the kicker in my city, all little store's and small gas stations must close because of incidents that have happened around or at them. Go figure.

Well I'm already 19 and practically all my friends and people from my college all go to bars and clubs except me. I don't really go out to much. I guess I could if I wanted to, although my mother would get mad. But I don't really like going outside that late at night. If I do want to stay up late then I guess I would just stay home and watch movies and stuff. But yeah I'm always hearing these stories and it's really sad.

Well if you do get everyone of the street during time time alot of business will close down. Its not the bars fault that people kill each other. THe people want to find trouble so they get what is coming to them. I disagree that murder rates will go down just becuase everyone turn in at night. THere is always the next day to do something to someone. Not many people think like you in terms of timing. There are people who work at night and sleep in the morning. Life is not the same for everyone. Bars operate at night becuase thats when people come to enjoy. If they open in the morning i wonder how many people will even go?. Mothers may control their kids when they are young, but when they get older i do not think many adult or even teens will listen to thier parents..

Crime is everywhere unfortunately. I really don't think a world wide curfew would solve that problem. They would probably just resort to breaking and entering and killing someone asleep.
As for daylight being up and night time for sleeping, its not always that easy. I myself am a night owl. I come from a long line of family night owls. I'm always up til midnight or later. And yea I've tried to follow what the rest of the world call "normal" hours but it doesn't work. The key word is insomnia. LOL
