We had just washed Busters pillow bed and he loves the fresh smell to a point. But then again he sniffed it turning his nose up at first. Like he was saying, It doesn't smell like me. Hee hee. Anyhow as he laid there I noticed he looked great with the houseplants in the background. So I grabbed the camera to share this shot. he loves when he gets his pillow and blanket washed. But only after a few minutes os sniffing and fluffing them up. Does your pet(s) have a blanket and/or pillow they love to rest upon?

Awwwwwwwwww......Buster sure looks content with his freshly laundered pillow. Domingo has a theripetic dog bed that used to be Shady's. He likes to lay on it but now it's first come, first dibs between him and the 3 cats. lol He much prefers our bed or couch anyways.

Yep lol Actually, the cats want to cuddle up with Domingo but he doesn't want to cuddle up with them. There is always room for him on his bed otherwise.

Gissi has 2 Blankets in his Bed and 2 Cushions and when ever I take them out of his bed to wash them I get evil Looks all the way to the Washing Machine and he will watch me hang them up
When I put them back in his bed I get evil Looks again after he has sniffed them realizing once again they have been washed lol he will then of course scrape and move till he has them back to how he wants them in there
That also reminds me they are due to be washed tomorrow thanks Grandpa Bob

I had a cat many years ago that would curl up
on my shoulders and neck to sleep at night.

aww--that picture of Buster is adorable...Mmm, as for my two little angels..they seem to like simply snoozing on my bed...guess cause it has "my" scent on it. They do have a large bed I made up for them consisting of just a large cardboard box with one of my old pillows that I change the pillowcase...but like I said, they seem to like my bed better. And it's battle to get in my bed when I'm ready for sleep...they look at me as if to say, "Hey, this is OUR place!"

Buster isn't allowed on the bed except for a couple minutes prior to us retiring for the night. When we first got him we left the house and the bedroom door was left opened. When we returned home we noticed he had literally eaten the vinyl mini-blind in the bedroom window trying to get at a passing dog. That's the main reason for him being banned from the bed.

Awwww he looks as if to say, "you're taking a picture of me?" lol He's a sweet looking little guy. I want a beagle some day but I heard they have a time with their ears because they're droopy and air can't get inside. And that they're loving, sweet and very loyal to their masters. Is that true?

He was looking at my saying, "Well hurry up damn it." I took about 5 pics before getting he right look on his face. I kept yelling, "Buster want a treat?" Hahahaha! yes he got a couple treats actually for posing so nicely. He is very loyal and obedient. But when I yell at him jokingly with the wife home, he runs to her side sort of smiling like yeah you won't hurt me now. Not that I ever would but he feels she will protect him. Of course this was started and trained into him as a special act that we play each night with him. Too funny. You'd have to see him run to her side then glare at me with a sheepish type grin. His ears are actually very sensitive to sounds. As he howls on the couch the sound travels right back to his ears and he shakes like crazy from the shrillness. But then starts howling all over and shaking again. Silly mutt.

He looks quite happy there.
My German Shepherd, Rose, had a cedar filled dog bed and she would often lay on it halfway, with the other half on the floor. If it was cold she would curl all the way up, nose to tail and fit on it with room to spare.
She preferred to sleep on my bed while I was gone all day, though and when I came home from work it was either the couch or her bed.

Aww, Buster looks cute and comfy on his pillow. I have a pet bed that my oldest dog, Lucy sleeps on. One of my other dogs, Charlie, tries to take it over every now and then, but we got it for Lucy as she is too old to be jumping on and off the bed and the couch. The other dogs make themselves at home on the couch and/or bed. The youngest one sleeps in her crate. She's just too active to sleep in the bed...and there isn't anymore room. Sophie and Charlie sleep in the bed with us. Lucy did until her back started bothering her and we didn't want her jumping off the bed and damaging her back more. Actually its the dogs' house. They just let us stay there.

Cute. When I had cats they never had a certain spot to eat. They'd rub against me and then I'd give them food. They never had a bed. One had one but he didn;t like it so he slept on the lazy boy recliner most times.

LOL. We have a pillow and a dog pad for our dog too. He likes it when we wash his but he sniffs it out and rolls all over it so he can get his scent back on it LOL. My dog loves it if we use a blanket and leave it on the couch. He will ruff it up and turn circles on it before he lays down.

yea.usually mine LOL
these guys tend to rotate a favorite spot-one day it's the clothes hamper, the next it's the pillow in the chair..or their towel blankie..but all bets are off if one cat sees another enjoy it.then it'll get comandeered by the other cat as soon as they get up for something.

Due to the amount of fur Buster sheds we keep him off the beds. We do allow him to "visit" us just prior to us going to sleep and he loves the treat of being allowed on the bed. After the short visit he lays on the floor at the foot of the bed till we are asleep then he jaunts off to the couch.

My little dog has a basket he sleeps in when I am in the office here. He was using this room as his private dumping ground so I got the basket and invited him in the room. It has stopped the naughty behavior in this room.
His basket has some blankets that my mom has crochet and I knitted little squares for him to sleep on. He sure hates it when the cats get in his basket and will not get out so he can sleep in there. He whines and carries on when one of the cats are in it. I feel he has turned into such a tattle tail when he does not get his way.

Yes, my dog has his little bed he likes and he has a blanket he likes and he loves to get under the pillow. The type of dog he is they love to get under covers. His little bed is near the patio door in the living room and he likes to lay there when the sun is coming through or just when he wants to look out.

Yeah Buster lays on the floor then moves the couch cover around till it covers him somewhat as well. Buster likes laying on the back of the couch the most to see the other critters being walked etc from the big window. I chase him off there a lot though as he flattens the back of the couch he is so fat. HAHAHA!

It is interesting of Mr. Buster to smell his pillow bed to see if he has the previous smell of him, as he usually does. lol. I am sure that Mr. Buster is a very happy and lucky family member and enjoys his life at Grandpa Bob's house. lol. Happy posting, Grandpa Bob.

Our Georgia Girl has a pretty pink bed that she loves, mostly because she hides things under it i think! I do put it in the washer once a week and it does take her a few minutes to sniff and decide that i didn't ruin it after all.

My wife works at a Middle Eastern restaraunt. They serve a delicious leg of lamb dinner that is huge. We bring Buster a bone home ever so often. If I don't put him outside with it I will find scraps of the bone a day later under his pillow or blanket in his kennel. Buster doesn't like when his pillow or blanket are gone neither.

That looks very comfy! I have a big basket that the dogs have taken over so I put blankets in it for them. Gus will get in and go round and round, digging in and getting the stuff just right. In winter or if it's thundering he'll put his head under the blankets. Here's a picture of him.
Buster is just too cute!
