why should friends lie to one another if truely there exist love between them

Hi guys,i might be a little naive about this,but i'm talking from a personal experiences i had with all my friends.I don't really see a reason why i should not be truthful to my friends(your friends indeed).
BUT IF YOU KNOW OF ANY REASON(S) TO LIE TO YOUR FRIEND(S),CAN YOU JUST SHARE IT WITH US.I'lllike to know cos i hadn't any reason yet

for me the reason why i'm telling a lie is because i don't one to hurt them or can we call it white lies.. your lying for the sake of your friend's feeling.... but not too often, think it many times before you do it... if ever there is instances happened that you think it can't really hurt your friend/s you dont have to do it....

Don't you think when they find out that you'd been lying to them all this while,will hurt them more than it would had been when you tell them the truth from the onset.
So,i'll like you to let people know and take you for your words by been truthful to them.
I hope all that read this will learn to be faithful to their friends.

I do not lie and I do not like people who lie. I think a friend is on your side and if that friend is lying she isn't on your side. I have been in situations where friends have lied about things like if a friend really looks nice or too much make-up, things like that. But even that starts a snow ball effect that lingers and never seems to die out or change. Bottom line is that a good friend doesn't lie.

i don't like friends that tell lies,but i let them know that i hate it with passion,do you also let them know how you feel about lying?

Hi Omobarorun,
I feel that if two people really believe that they are friends then honesty should never be a problem and lying to one another shows a lack of trust.
I have a small circle of friends and I love them all. I'm honest with them in each situation and they with me. But I also believe that there are some things that I only share with my hubby.

I only have one good friend I feel I can be completely honest with and she will not hold it against me. But truthfully other friends of mine may be the same way but I have not given them the chance. I am just afraid to hurt peoples feelings.

Thanks for telling me about the one friend you'll be honest with,but i'll like to advice or say that you also give other a try as this will convince you about them.
