Women keep a special corner of their hearts for sins they have never committed.

Said Cornelia Skinner. Is that true. Is there a sin that deep down you wish that you had committed? Although not a woman, I've always wished I could be ruder to people than I am. I know that I won't be though. But some people just seem to be able to be so rude and get away with it. So what's you sinful aspiration?

Ok..maybe you will believe this or maybe not. but P1key..since i deal with people everyday at my store..sometimes i get some no brainers that come inside and ask me the dumbest questions i feel like..WHY ME??..LOL..anyway if they really get to much and I still can't get through to them after being polite i tell them to get the you know what out of my store and go find a brain..cause this isn't Ozland..ok so i can be rude but i hope you realise its not on purpose..and my real dream is to one day drive real fast and not let a cop find me..LOL..if he's chasing me..some reason i always cheer on those running from the cops??

I wasn't too offended when I dropped by your store last week to be told by the delicious looking lady owner to "Get the heck out of my store and don't come back". Although in my new job as UPS delivery man it isn't the usual greeting. Especially as the last time I went there I was told "Drop your pants. I want to check what I'm signing for". LOL. Hope that cop never gets you. How fast does your truck go anyway?

It is true. I keep a special corner of my heart for sins that i never committed. I can control my mood, my behavors. But my thoughts are free. Take one for example. If someone offend me badly, though i still smile at him or her and "be a lady", actually in my heart i kill him or her a thousand times!!!! And i never let such behavor into actual actions.

I wanna be a dominatrix so badly! I guess there will always be a corner of my heart that is given over to this desire although I am too fat to fit in the type of outfit I would so love to wear - I do believe I have described this to you in some detail before? lol xxx

I love that quote. How true it is and why didn't I think of that??? I wish I could always have what I want, whatever that may be whenever I want it. Without fighting or kicking and screaming. I guess I just always want things to come my way easily. Nothing ever does in real life though.

That's true. I do appreciate things more by working for them. But honestly, right now, I'm tired of working my dear. Everything seems so hard lately that some peace and ease of obtaining anything would be great.

I'm in the process of taking a year off and recovering from illness and it is bliss. However, I can feel deep down an urge to get back out there and do something.

Stuff is often a struggle. But than you appreciate it more. If it's handed to you n a plate then I suspect that it is easy to view it as just "normal".

Me sin??? Do you know I think everyone must have sinful thoughts at times. I think mine is the nasty things I would really like to do but know are totally wrong eg. It would be tempting to let the handbrake off on the steep hill just as my ex-husbands girlfriends walks in front of the car, by accident of course, but I would never do it and choose to forgive instead as I cannot ruin myself with bitterness eh! Then there are the naughty thoughts, I had one earlier as there is one marine I really like but I let it go to the back of my mind but I am sure he can read it at times Ellie :D

Hi Katesmama, thatnks for that as I am sure we do all think the nasties too but some don't say out loud. I'm a big softie really but I still think like a tough nut at times especially over this one woman, but not my place to kick her ar*se, she'll trip herself up eventually eh! Ellie :D
@p1kef1sh (45681)

Yikes Ellie. There's a sinful thought about your ex's GF. Now the Marine. That's very naughty. Come closer and tell me more. I promise I won't say a word............

I would guess they are a little bad naughty girl in all of us just lurking there in a place in our hearts and that we all wish we could have the guts to do something wild and crazy way out of control and considered "sinful" by some standards by letting our animal instints take over..but we or I anyhow never really do because I am forever thinking about the consequences and that just take some of the joy out of it..If we/I could do without thinking it would be easier to let loose and be crazy and free to do as we please..confused yet. I am.

I managed to hang on in there. I think that what you are saying is that you wish you were able to override all your inhibitions. I'm with you on that one.

I wish I was able to wayliegh into people without a care in the world instead of sitting and chosing my words as not to offend anyone. LOL!! I also wish I was a little more colder to the people who hurt me and I have continue to let hurt me but I just can't seem to be mean to those.

I'm a little like that too. Although I have noticed a not altogether welcome steak appearing recently. Although not religious now, I was always taught to turn the other cheek. Sometimes though, that's not the most recommended practice.

I don't find much truth in the statement but maybe that is because I am the type of person that if I want to do something I just up and do it. Sin or not. Sure there have been times in retrospect I have said "I wish I would have...." but usually the consequence of jail is what prevented me from doing the deed in the first place so I am not counting those.

Well the quote was written at a time (1930s) when women were less emancipated than today.

is it true? of course . women keep a special cornet in their heart for some unknown commention..i have some female freinds and in some conditions.even though they are angry and possibly want to rude to other people in the bottom of their hearts .but they never show the rude action out .they can bear something well,but not stand for they are without the sinful aspiration.

Ahh, the sinful little corners in out heart xD. It's a really interesting questions. I seriously can't think of a sin that I would like to commit. Although how is being rude a sin? That's the part I don't really get...It's not good to be rude, but how is it a sin? Oh well, I still can't think of something now...grs. sorry about that.

Who was rude? I'll rue the sin I haven't committed yet - the sin against the person who was rude to you. I wish I was less sensitive, p1key. And a bit tougher, and I definitely wish that I had the capacity to hit someone else too. There are times when I'd love to really haul off and deck someone, you know? Right in the kisser! Pow! Down they go, awww, poor baby. That's the sin I'd like to regret. I've got a couple of people in mind too to have committed this particular sin against. But no one better be rude to our p1key. They'll rue the day. We'll all rush to your defense and run them out of town! On a rail! A splintery one!

The Tigress is roused again eh Nova? I can't imagine you hitting anyone. Well I can, but not so that you'd hurt them!

Mine? To be rude to YOU so that I could find out just how rude you can be! ROFL Won't happen though, I like fish too much and couldn't eat them if I had to be rude.
@p1kef1sh (45681)
30 Jun 08
But if you are rude to me, then I could be rude to you in return. That way we'd both tick another sin off our "to do" lists. LOL.

Everyone seems to want to be rude. Is rudeness a sin? I don't think anyone is without sin but it depends on how you define a sin. If I think about the seven deadly ones I'm sure I must be guilty of all of them at some time: 1. Pride 2. Envy 3. Anger 4. Avarice 5. Sadness 6. Gluttony 7. Lust I may need to work on avarice a bit more, if that means being greedy and wanting a lot of money and possessions, because I am not really into that way of thinking.
@p1kef1sh (45681)
1 Jul 08
I've been liberal with my interpretation of sin. Rudeness isn't one of the original seven. Sadness is my other one. I get very sad, but don't usually let it show. "Emotionless" is how I have been described by more than one person. I'm not too proud, I don't envy anybody anything, I rarely get angry (and feel bad about it afterwards), I am not acquisitive, but I do need enough to live on, I love to eat so that's a bit dodgy and as for lust? My achilles heel. But I don't wish that I cold lust more, I don't have the time!

I'm not sure I agree with Cornelia Skinner (whoever she is). I have a little corner of my brain though where I store up those sins I wish I hadn't committed though.

I also get mad at myself for not telling somebody off that deserved it. I always think about the most clever response after the fact. Although I have become somewhat jaded, I do wish that I could be tougher, and not quite as sensitive as I am.

I know just what you mean Latoya. I sometimes find myself apologising to someone that's been rude to me!
