Boy today i really lucked out. I ate out twice today. A friend came by and we went shopping and she took me to Thai restaurant we had seen on a previous trip in that area. We had nether one ever eaten Thai food before. It was very good.I had vegetables in a peanut sauce and rice. She had snow peas and rice. For supper I went with my grandson to his friend's birthday supper. The friend turned 18 today. We ate at a place called Carolina Wing. As you can guess from the name their specialty is wings. They ordered 50 hot wings and 50 Tariakie wings. I had 2 of each and salad. Then a chocolate birthday cake. I shouldn't have eaten any thing. but i didn't want to be impolite since they were kind enough to invite me. Do you like Thai food or hot wings.

The Thai food was very interesting. I like the peanut sauce served over the vegetables. A nice vegetarian dish.

That is great. We usually only eat one meal per day here. We work seven days per week, nights. It is hard for us to figure out what and when to eat with the hours that we work. We usually eat one meal and go to bed and get up and work and do it again the next day. I have never tried Thai food but I do like hot wings.

wowww... that is really nice... got to eat out twice outside in a day... i never done it before... especially with money being very tight now... if i have lunch outside, then i will have dinner at home and vice versa... there is no way i can spend my money eating outside two times in a day as it costs too much... i prefer thai food rather than hot wings... take care and have a nice day...

My friend took me out to lunch then I went to a birthday party so it didn't cost me any thing. I brought 1/2 the Thai food home.

mmm...sounds like a nice day. I've eaten out a lot lately, too. I think it's especially nice in the summer - it's too hot to cook!

I don't often eat out because of the expense but this was a nice change. But the meals were a nice price.

Wow that's awesome you are luckin out like me today. I got lunch and supper out as well. It was quite nice to say the least. I just came back from a 2 week holiday so we decided to pick up some lunch grab it to go in the truck. When I got back my parents and few close friends and family all had a BBQ ready for us. It was quite nice. You can never go wrong with BBQ's and someone else doing the cooking is even better. Glad you had a wonderful day.

Wow deebomb, sounds like you had a great day. I don't think I have ever tried Thai food but it sounds absolutely delicious. I'll have to try it. Sounds pretty healthy too. But hot wings are delicious. That is if I can find some that aren't too hot. I really like to fix them at home so I can fix me some that is not quite as spicy as the rest of the family love. Very good though. Mmmmm you are making me hungry. lol

I like trying different cultures foods. These hot wings really weren't very hot. I need to learn how to fix them for the kids.

I've had Thai before and I remember I liked it. Unfortunately I don't remember what I had there because it was a few years ago.. I used to have a friend that was a professor, and she used to love to introduce me to new foreign foods. I don't like the really hot wings, I prefer to get them mild, or what they call Buffalo Wings. I used to really love the hot stuff, but I don't eat it much anymore. The terriyaki wings are good too, as are sweet and sour, which a local eatery here has. Lucky you...getting to eat out twice! Sounds like you had a real fun day.

Hi deebomb, for people who live in the tropical area are very fond of taking hot and spicy foods. Of course I love taking Thai food and hot wings as well. Among the delicious dishes I like the prawn tomyam the most and followed by stirred fried petai beans. The former is spicy soup prepare from prawn and all the hot and spicy ingredients. I usually take them together with plain rice. My hubby and I would visit the only Thai restaurant in down town once or twice monthly enjoy our favorite Thai dishes there.

Hi There, Actually I love Thai food. What you ate sounds amazing. There is nothing better than going out to eat. No preparation or cleanup...that is the best. In terms of hot wings however, my stomach does not seem to be able to take that kind of stuff anymore. I guess I am getting old. :( cheers,

That was the best part no clean up or preparation. The hot wings really weren't very hot. One can get them with different degrees of heat. Mild to very very hot.

I have had Thai food a few times. I used to hate hot wings, but I developed a taste for them when I was pregnant with my son. I don't eat them very often though. They give me heartburn.
