This is one of 8 Astillibes I have scattered in my yard. I have 2 scarlet color, 2 white, 2 pink, and 2 purple. This is one of the pinks about half way bloomed. This is right outr my back door near the patio table and chairs. They don't have a scent that I know of. But then again I have never smelled then to this day. This one is about3 and a half feet tall and looks great fully in color. Have you ever seen or won an Astillibe at all?

Either you forgot or mylot is messing with you again, there is no photo attached that I can see. Are there a certain amount you can do in a day?
I just did a search on the internet to see what that flower looks like and the best I can tell I don't guess I have seen one before. The one I saw online was a pinkish color, not a bright pink and not a purple. It does look like a very pretty flower to have.

Okay there is a glitch again. I just uploaded the photo (a 3rd time) and added a comment then....POOF! Right back to the discussion with it not being here. One more try damn it.

Hi GRANDPA BOB! No photo again. Oh wait, I just have to scroll down a little and there it is. The photo is uploaded now with your comments. haha... This is the first time I have heard of these kind of flowers although they look similar to some of the flowers I have seen here in our local area. Maybe they are cousins. haha.. But they look pretty.

There two photos added here. That glitch hit me again. it seems to only happen if I have 3 or more tabbed windows and try to upload. So next time I add a few photos I am trying it one page up only to see if that helps. Thanks also.

I have see astilbe, but I always think of them as being all pink. I was surprised to learn of their many colors.

Heres is one of the white ones that was buried beneath a ton of weeds. I transplanted it and a couple days later it was white and snowy looking. Enjoy.
