For got to switch down my rive cooker

It's funny last night, I did called my kids and my wife for a dinner, I was preparing the plates, spoon and fork. My kids get the water from the refrigerator. Then I proceed to the rice cooker to get some rice. Gezzzzz, so funny, the rice is not yet cooked, O Man, I forgot to switch the rice cooker. They are all laugh at me.
Do you have this same experience? Don't laugh at me now, cause it can be happened to you in the future, so be aware to include this while cooking rice in rice cooker.

That used to happen in my mother's house before... and we end up getting hungry just by waiting for the rice to be cooked... so nowadays... she double check and ask someone to recheck if she switched down the rice cooker... but that rarely happens to me in my apartment... since i look forward to the smell of cooking rice... so i never forget...

Yea, I sometimes put something in the microwave and forget to turn it on.
I also sometimes cook things and forget to eat them!
One time I was making chicken nuggets in the toaster oven for my son, and we left and went to work cleaning some offices out of town, and the chicken nuggets were cooking for 8 hours!
Lots of times I'll make something like toast, or a pop tart, and I forget to eat it. I'll go back in the kitchen later in the day and see it still sitting there in the toaster.

Sorry friend I can't help myself from laughing. But it happened to me before. Gee, it was really funny. We were about to eat lunch, the foods are prepared, all have taken their seats and like you, when I was about to get rice, whollah, it wasn't cooked. LOL. I forgot to switch the rice cooker. So we have to wait until it gets cooked. Since then, I see to it that I switch it on before I go to my other chores. Happy postings! Hugz!
