Hey people, With laptop everywhere these days. Do you still use computers? For me, I don't have a laptop yet so I've always been using a computer. However, I bought a laptop online waiting to be delivered within this week. I predicted from then on I will be using laptop more. The computer I have right now, will be used for downloading. So, how which one you use the most, computer or laptop?

i prefer a laptop. you can surf the internet while in bed. it's perfect when you're trying to unwind , too tired to do anything else. so in bed you can rest and work or play with your laptop. also a laptop is portable and you can bring the computer to people to show them something of interest, who don't have a computer and benefit from yours.

i found that i cannot live without a laptop, happily live that is. when mine would be down, my sister would be kind to let me use her pc, but i would feel so restricted. for example just last night i was on my laptop until 5am. so i ended up only getting a little over 2 hours sleep. but what can you do? you gotta be online. :D

I use laptop more, since here in the Maldives there are so many hot spot anywhere its easy to get signals. I only use a PC when Im in the office although even in office I have a laptop. I guess its for convenience.

Yeah, most people find laptop very convenient but for me it's really to keep me warm in my bedroom while I have access to the internet. Oh the warmth will be coming from the heater hehe

I use my laptop more often than the computer. This is my personal laptop so all my files are here. It's also a more modern version so it's a lot faster than my old computer. I need to use the computer once in a while though when I need to have some printing done because our printer is hooked up on that computer. I guess I can install the printer to my laptop as well but I'm just lazy to do it.

Printer connecting laptop = in my case, everyone will have access to my laptop, which I don't want that to happen.

I use my pc because I do not have a laptop yet, but I think that even when I get one that I likely will continue to use my pc since it is what I have grown more accustomed too, I would compare it to a cell phone and a telephone, I have both but I use my telephone way more often.

Interesting, I'm more of a location. If I can function in a warm area like my room I will use laptop more. If its hot in my room, I will use the computer more. In regards to telephone and mobile phone. Hahah, I use mobile phone the most even though I don't always make calls

I don't own a laptop, but even if I did, I would probably use the computer more. I guess I trust it more, so many more things could go wrong with a laptop than with a computer, so I'd more likely trust the comp with all of my stuff.

Oh that's an interesting opinion as I never really think of whether laptop is trustworthy or not but convenience

Hi snoopy88, we have laptop and desktop in our house, but i used laptop most of the time because i can bring it anywhere i want and the radiation in laptop is not that much like in the desktop, so it just mean that i can stay more longer using a laptop. thanks and have a wonderful day.

Lolz...remember the box desktop computer we used to have like 10 years ago. They are a killer to my eyes when I used them as a replacement this year! I was thinking, my laptop will not be off my desk because I'm too lazy to carry it around the house. hahaha

well given the fact that my laptop is really old and really slow I mainly use my desktop computer instead. It's allot newer and allot faster.

currently I don't have any laptop, but in the future where I plan to buy one I'll probably use more on my computer. My laptop would just be my work while on the go, but I'll probably use more of my desktop since I could upgrade it and personalize it better than I could do in my laptop (in terms of hardware)

Laptop of course!!its very convenient, spacious and easy to pack. You could easily take it wherever you want.Even if going to other places,I own a laptop. Before i used to go to internet shops to rent a computer.Everytime i use it i encounter problems. Now i've got one i never had a headache on this. The only problem was the keyboard, once i've got problems on it co'z i used to eat while surfing. And it harmed my keyboard that i got troubles. But its not a very serious problem.I got a dell and its very fast. With desktop, its messy looking co'z you have to take wires that it looks like a spaghetti.

Mmm yeah, their keyboard is quite intact and flat if you know what i mean haha. You can always try to use a roll-up keyboard (made of plastic/rubber) so to clean it easy?!

i prefer desktop than using laptop. i don't know.. well maybe i'm used to using it most of the time ever since i've had one and use one. i had a laptop but i used for a while only. well one reason is that, when i'm doing photo editing, i'm having a hard time dealing with the mouse pad using laptop. and yes, it's really not preferrable for designing. another thing is that i am comfortable typing using a desktop's keyboard than a the laptop's.. so there..

At the moment I only have a laptop which is great as I can take it anywhere. Plus, I live in a tiny flat at the moment so I don't have room for a computer right now!
