interest, elderly women, retiree

Do we have members out there who are same age as me? I'am an elderly woman of 53 years old and just retired. I would like to discuss topics with those who are within this age group. It least we have some common discussions to share...

Elderly at 53?!!! No way! My mom is 80 and that would be elderly to me 53 is middle aged. I am 54 and no way do I consider that elderly!! PUL-LEASE!! LOL I am semi-retired. I could have gone longer but it was just a decision that I made and could afford to make so I did it. Many factors were considered in the decision but I am happy that I did. I have worked hard since I was in high school and have been through a lot (cancer, loss of my adult son, and other stuff) so I decided to reward me with some time to do what I want and still work, part time, in the business I love, teaching dance.
