Your daily earnings on mylot; do you keep track of them?

Do you keep track of them or do you mostly go online on mylot for fun? I do keep track of my earnings at the end of the month and I must say it's nice to see them go up, I'm not just in here for fun but I do have a lot of fun being here :) I will however not log on just to check if earnings are updated for example. Usually I get anywhere between $1.40 and $2.00 per day but today I crossed the $2.00 and that drew my attention to start looking into my account. It can be rather fun to view your earnings and see how active your referrals are :) I don't think it will become something I would do on a regular basis though.

I check it out on a daily basis to as part of the fun that I go through while I am on mylot. It also gives me that extra boost to go on when I see a decent amount of earning in a day.

I've noticed I liked checking my earnings too, so I might start doing it more regularly; it can really give you a boost like you just stated. It is part of the fun because it's one of the goals why we discuss here and not on other non-paying boards. Have a good day!

Lately I've been off Mylot due to bad tendinitis in my left hand. Last week I didn't earn more than a dollar a day due to that. The last few days, the daily earnings have been up. But I fear that my time on Mylot is limited as the pain is coming back. Some days I do $2.00 fairly easily. I don't know how. It just happens. I post a lot of my own discussions and follow up with some of the responses. I don't get to follow up on them all due to time limitations. A friend of mine on Mylot suggested doing more than one thing in a day's time. Like posting a combo of discussions and responses. That has worked best for me.

Sounds great! $2.00 earnings a day don't come easily for me as I still have a hard time posting new discussions, I'm pretty creative with other types of things but starting discussions is not one of them! LOL! I had some great ideas but allways someone has started that exact same topic a few hours before me. I guess I'll learn in time and otherwise there's nothing to do about that. I'm not sure what tendinitis is but it sounds like you are in pain because of it and I'm sorry to hear that. I'm not sure if it's something that will pass or something one must learn to live with but I wish you all the best. Take care and thanks for responding to my discussions!

Thank you very much for saying so. Tendinitis is basically pain in the hands, like where a tendon is stressed and then it hurts. As for your discussions, can I pass along a tip that another Mylot member gave to me when I first joined. I told him that I was worried that I would duplicate a topic and that would be seen as copying. And this was the advice I got. Just relax! Add your own spin to the subject and it will instantly become your idea! Add a unique story or anecdote or observation and instantly you will have a unique discussion. Another way to seperate your discussions from everyone else is to create a unique title. Also look around at other people's discussions. You'll see there are MANY discussions on the same topic. It's inevitable. And it's OK! No worries! The only thing against TOS is actually copying or stealing another member's discussions. And I'm sure you'd never do that. However, it's OK to cover a topic or subject on your own. Give it some time and you'll be good at coming up with these things. Most times, I keep a small notepad with me and jot down observations and ideas that come to me throughout my day. Since my day is unique and different than other people's, so are my discussions! The other day I noticed that my dishes weren't getting clean so I posted about it. A week before that, we ran out of toothpaste and had to use my daughter's fruity bubble gum toothpaste so I posted about that and simply tacked on a question like, "What flavor is your toothpaste?" Because I added my own personalized story, it wasn't considered a copy! And I'm sure other people have covered the subject of toothpaste flavors, but never exactly the way that I did it. Just a couple ideas and techniques I've picked up over the past year. Hope they help! Always enjoy your discussions and response. Hope you continue to post for a long while! Chat with you later Beauty Queen

Yes, I do check my earnings on a daily basis only to make sure that I have more than yesterday. Also to see that what I made is reflected in the amount of time I spent. Congrads, I have never made more than $.50. You must be a speed typer. Thanks for the post and just know that their are some people who cant type more than 20 words a minute like myself. Keep up the good work and happy loting your my lot. :)

Thanks a lot :) Yes, I'm a pretty fast typist if I may say so myself, thing is I can type blindly; I needn't look at the keys which makes me type a lot faster. I can look at the screen while typing and think about what I want to type next without having to look away to my keys. I did spend a lot of time on mylot, even though I type fast there's still some effort and time to put into it to reach such amounts. When I start the 4 weeks at work working 4 days a week I'll have much less time to be online and my earnings will drop significantly.

Please keep typing away. I like to respond to your posts. Even if they are just one liners. Sure wished that I had given more in my typing class but this was a time before computers when only lady secretaries used typing. Now am just an old man with the concept but not the ablity.LOL take care. :)
