cheap date

does anyone have any ideas for a fun, cheap date night? what are some things you have done? we are, of course, as most people in the usa getting impacted by the drastically rising cost of living. but we still want to be able to go out and have fun and enjoy each other's company. what could we do that wouldn't cost very much money?

It depends upon where you live. Here in Miami, there are all sorts of great free tihngs to do on the beach. My friend in Colorado loves picnics on mountainside hikes. I know someone who makes great bicycling dates in Oregon. Just the ideas of goo food and good music can make a picnic almost anywhere a wonderful date. I understand people in places like New York City do that on "tar beach," which is really the rooftop.

thanks! i would like to go to a picnic... we are land locked so no beaches (except the river banks!) ha ha but we do go hiking sometimes. a lot of times our 'dates' we don't really do anything too special it's just that we are the only two people there... such as cook dinner together or watch tv/movie at home just to spend some times together

Have you thought about a day at the beach? A picnic and then at night a small bonfire. That would be a great fun date.

A picnic in the back yard, a walk on the beach on a clear night, camping, drive-in, on the lawn in a park watcking the stars.
