should computers be banned?

Dear friend, If computer is not invented other alternative will be definetly will be invented what about the mobile phones, Televisions and other electronic items they too give path for further inventions. If computer is banned much of medical and life saving methods too will be banned. Most of the analysis and diagonalise are more accurate through computer help. I hope it would effect the better side of humans most. Hence I do not feel banning computer could be a good idea, Hence computer is not to be banned it is to be spread I hope humans will be more secure through all computerised security systems if well advance no criminal can escape when they get into a computerised apartment or buildings. The criminal mind too can be read accurately through computer help. Hence it might be not a good idea to ban computer. Even expert doctors depend upon computer for accurate results of their patients.

yeah thats right but without computers nowadays it is very difficult to live.if everyone avoid computers then life would become normal and smoother.But in this competitive world it is impossible.what you say?

I love my computer and it is very helpful to me. I have grown so accustomed to it. It is my daily money maker. I can earn from home and never have to leave and pay high gas prices or use a car daily. I can help to save the planet by working from home instead of polluting the air with emissions.

Computers should NOT be banned! Computers are how I make my living. I would be up the creek without a paddle if I wasn't allowed to use them!

Hello jijonmathew, If the computers were banned you wouldn't be able to send this discussion but I do believe that kids addictive to their computer games, but they shold be only alowed to play for certain amount of time but they should go out more and play. I 'm a bit addictive to it but now I only go it on a few hours because I have got other commitments. So what will "you" do without the computer?

Not everyone is addicted to computors. And without computors we couldnt go into space, we couldnt fly planes, we cant play world of warcraft! Joking about the last one, but computors are really needed for a lot of things.

I think the best thing we need here is self control. I don't think that computers been controlling our lives, come to think of it of how many times computer help us, how they made our live more comfortable, more convenient and more productive. I think if the computers were banned that would be the end of the world.

I dont think computers should be banned at all.My kids play onthe computer but I monitor their time and they realize that when its time to get off its time to get off. I use the computer with my son Logan who is autistic and it really seems to help him. I will admit I feel lost without my computer and its part of my life but I wouldnt ban it.

Hi friend, Its not that computers be banned is that people should have control on oneself.We should computer in a right manner,if we use it than we gain a lot of knowledge from it.Because of computer only we are developing a little bit.Everyone are knowing what is happening all over the world simply sitting in their houses.I think computer is our best friend if we use it properly it really helps us a lot. yes its true, but i think their should be some rules like no computer games for children.. the technology should be used for mankinds for improvment not to distruct.. some rules can help us to use computer effectively. what do you say?

this coming from a person who is complaining abut computers while ON a computer. if you think they are such evil technological inventions.. give yers away and dont have one.. but thinking itd be a good idea to dictate what others do in their lives or what appliances should be allowed for all.. is assanine.

This clearly is wishful thinking. Of course, computers are creating a lot of problems but in fact that is because we are not using them properly. But then, for how long they have been around. We will slowly learn to take full advantage of them without falling into the trap.

So you want to go back to the days when it took forever to place a phone call because you had to do it through the operator? The days before all the modern gadjets we have. Almost everything is computerised from watches to ovens to cars to hearing aids these days. Heck even TV remotes are miniature computers. I love computers. I remember when they first came out. they took up a whole room and to program them you needed to feed in punch cards with the data. I remember my first computer. I was told that I could never fill up my 20MB hard disk. Hard disks were still new back then. Most people had either One 5 1/4 floppy drive or the high enders had duel 5 1/4 floppys. LOL It took about 2 years and 20MB was antiquated and people were buying 100 MB drives.

for me, i don't think computer should be banned. simply because, it has quite become a necessity. for those who are still studying, doing research is made a little less a burden. it is what we do with our computer that make it a bad gadget. if we can only discipline ourselves and those around us, then computers will be a great help.

i think if we still can control it then nothing to worry about it so much. yeah someone has addict on it but it can be fix, parents will always take a look for this matter so just be careful on what we was doing about this computer. computer is a no stop technology so i think it never can be banned. good or bad the computer is depend on us to decided it.

i think computers are a form of entertainment, education, research, work, and they let you travel to other countries and chat with other people without action being there. you can sit in your own home and chat with India, Middle East, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, etc. i have actually joined various ethnic groups and have picked up words in Italian, German, East Indian, Filipino, Persian, Arabic, etc. people just need to organize their schedule so that they balance their day out with their real life and computer life...get all the work done real life like homework, and then play on the computer for their entertainment time, like 2 hours before bedtime. computers are just another form of entertainment, like tv, reading books, magazines, movies, etc. while others still use it for work and research for homework.

people become dependent on computer Some get addicted in using it that they fail to go out and have a sunlight on them,a man who had habitually sit infront of a pc develop health problems.A reduced manpower when computerization was introduced.So, a lot of people end up losing jobs especially those manual labours are substituted by computerized machines.a computer will just follow whatever program or command ot os given,so i guess humans will always be superior.one has to think that his he addicted to computers think about it.If we dont have a computers then thin k about the communication paying online bills acces to things they would not have had before computers make life easier so think about it

I don't beleive computers should be banned. Yes people depend on them to much, but they have it available so why not? So many of your manufactored goods and companies are ran by computers as well, if they got banned out economy would crash so fast it wouldn't even be funny.
