How you deal with the mockery responses you got

Hello alkurishy, Do not worry about that, you have a lot of friends here and myself had a few mockery, so forget it and keep doing discussions. Tamara.

I would ignore it. I know I'm new here, but usually if somebody is looking to be a jerk, they are looking for a response. If they realize they aren't getting it from you, they will move on. And I don't know anything about the complaint process here, but if its bad enough that's always an option! :-)

Hi there alkurishy, Some are respond that way because i miss spelling and stuff. But i just pretend they are not there and respond it niceli (still) And i still going to their profile to respond on of my responder discussion to return it dropping by at my discussion.Take an easy, they will bored mocking at you all the time. Hi alkurishy, I have tried once I guess, but I don't like to focus on it and don't like to kill my positive energy here..I comment on it based on what I believed and think and glad to know that he didn't comment back..If he did, I will ignore it and move on! I know there are a lot of people who have different orientation as we are, different behavior but I am also hoping everyone is more mature here, and so far, I am glad that all of my friends on the list and even those who are not my friends but dropping responses in my post were great and mature people!

alkurishy hi When I get responses that mock me like that and they show absolutely no respect at all for me, I hit the negative key and if they are really flaming or being down right insulting I hit the third key and let mylot handle it as they have broken mylot rules.

..hi alkurishy.. don't be bothered so much with those mockery.. maybe they have no other things to say.. just be happy.. be positive.. maybe that is also wherre those people feel happy so let them enjoy.. just ignore it and move on.. that's life and that's reality.. evrything that we do, we expect that there will always be those people who would try to hurdle us and try to stop us from moving on.. just laugh at those mockery and pray for them..

Hi alkurishy !sometimes I find it difficult to understand people on mylot, I try and remember that all someone is saying is their opinion and it may be how they feel but it is usually not fact, so I roll with it. welcome and Happy Mylotting

I just ignore it,maybe they are having a bad day.

I try to see it not as a mockery or anything offense. It is very difficult sometimes because we all come from many different backgrounds, upbringings, countries and ways of life. Sometimes we do not speak correct English and some of us just don't know how to word things. I try to be open and enjoy peoples mockery or negative attitudes. I mean who knows they could just be blowing off steam to everyone because they have had a bad day. Does it make it right? NO, but I am sure it makes them feel better as it would make you. I think everyone here should be open and try not to get so offended. I am sure no one here is intentionally trying to make fun of anyone or make them cry. Happy Mylotting!

Yes alkurishy this often happens and I wonder why I bother at all,then someone like yourself writes and I enjoy responding. These people are a waste of space,best ignored,maybe they could all go off and invent their very own discussion group,how about Lets annoy everyone.com there they could happily agrivate one another

Just ignore the posts that you feel are mockery. I just ignore them. and move on.

well whenever someone start doing that with u.....try to put forward some great puns u have ever used....or just start mocking the one who is doing this all ...or the most prestigious way is that u should remain quiet and show that u hav ignored that all...

I have noticed that some people here get upset if you do not agree with them. They take it as an insult. I would be a sad place if we were all surrounded by 'yes' men! In my view, if we start a discussion we should rejoice that some people may disagree with us so that we can debate the topic. The other problem I see is when people have no sense of humour or 'sense of the ridiculous'. The english language, like most other languages I'm sure, is full of double meanings. When someone writes on Mylot something I find funny then I will reply in kind. If the humour is caused by a mis-spelling or a particular choice of word by a member whose first language is not english, then I may point out the humour so that we may all have a laugh. Now you, dear alkurishy, are old enough (haha) to know when someone is mocking you, but sadly, others take offence where none is intended.

I think it's unnecessary bother about the mockery.To me,I just see it with a little smile,then forget it.I'm here for the happy time, not the bother time.

Hi there! Oh yes sometimes I receive responses like that. But I just ignore them. I don't reply back at them. Sometimes I am tempted to rate it negative but I am hesitant and I prevent myself from doing that. Why? Because I know it will cause' damage to them. They might loose earnings or their ratings might go down. I don't like that to happen to those kinds of members here. I know the right thing to do is to rate them negative but I don't like striking back at people. But I wish that members who mock other members would stop doing that cause' its not nice at all.
