I have a mission for you all.
Tomorrow - that's Friday July 10th to those of you who live in a different time zone - is a day to mark on your calendar.
Our own favorite cynical and outspoken mylotter, is getting married. So she'll be MIA for awhile.
I want everyone who knows her, loves her, and those who just read this thread, to leave here, your best wishes for tomorrow and for the rest of her life.
Marriage is the most important undertaking of a person's life next to parenthood, and it should be celebrated with abandon and lots of booze!
So raise a glass to our Cyn, and toast her day and her future, and leave a little love here as our gift to her, upon her return.
Do it! NOW!
I've posted this in Beauty, by the way, because EVERY bride, is beautiful on her special day and should be recognized for that.
Congrats dear Cyn and all the best for now and the years to come! I love you. Good Luck and don't trip going up the aisle! LOL

As for hideous brides...........shhhhhhhhhhhhh! That's like telling a brand new mom her brand new baby looks like a monkey! Often true, but some things are better left unsaid! ROFL
But we do agree, do we not, that our Cyn WILL be a beautiful bride? Of course we do or she'll have both our butts for breakfast! ROFL

You mean July 11th? today is the 10th Sparky, I know we have time zones we share in the us and Canada but does that mess up the whole calendar as well?
I have thought about our beautiful Cyn many times this week. So (raises my glass) here's to you Cyn wishing you the very best of what is about to become the most extensive adventures you can ever think of. I hope your life together is filled with all the love, joy, and fulfillment you have ever dreamed of. And if and when you run into a bump in the road remember we all are here all of the time to help you sort it out! Love you Sugar, cant wait to see those pictures and hear about your grand day!

LoL Olive, I come with Sparks stamp of approval, trust me.
Even though the smirk on my face in my wedding photos after I almost ripped my dress clean off the top of me by stepping on it while walking down the isle is ALL her fault. I'll let her fill you in on that though.
As for a bit of the bad....rofl. Check out my discussion about my wedding and I think you will agree that my sweetie and I had all the bad we need for the next 3 years.

I am both! Why would it end so soon? Are you just saying that because of the average amount of time people stay married? It is similar to the life expectancy rate, so it does not mean that every marriage only lasts three years! I just hope whatever time they do have together is a special time with happy thoughts and good feelings! If they can communicate well now, and both of them have a handle on their emotions in a healthy way, with good expectations, they may be in heaven until they have children!

I actually thought about how funny it would have been when my step mom and dad weren't going to be in to make it for my wedding if there was a way to get you and Pikefish up here in time for the ceremony.
That would have been a hoot trying to introduce the two of you to the rest of the family as I called you both mom and dad.
I have posted pictures on my photos page and written a discussion about the experience. My sweetie is stuck with me for life because I swear on all that is holy that I will NEVER plan another wedding again as long as i live!

I would have prayed for rain. It was only supposed to be 76 and ended up being 86. You try wearing 6 lbs of lace in 86 degree weather.
I have posted photos in my photos section but the sun was in my eyes so I am radiant squinting bride. lol
Thank you so much Pike for all you have done for me. I am happy to report the sixpence worked. We received enough in "gifts" to double the down payment on our house.
My sweetie wants to get married every year now. lol
