Do you feel stupid responding to a discussion which is quite old.

There are times when i am browsing to reply to discussions, and I find something which I would like to respond, but then if I see it is 6 months old or older, I think twice. Do you feel the same way.

Hi ketybhagat, it does not matter to me if the discussion is old or not, you still make your points and money answering comments. I answer many old ones, some even a year old.

I guess I should also do the same. Sometimes I do feel odd replying after such a long time, but now that I know you all also do the same, will make me feel real comfortable. Thanks a million.

No, I don't think so. Whether I replying the discussions is up to my interest. I will ignore any discussion if I have not any interet and I don't like to waster any time on it.

Stupid, no. I've posted responses to stuff that was over a year old, lol. I like to see it as getting them out of the way. Not the best way to put it, but I read and I conquered and have moved on. As far as I'm concerned those still count.

You have put it in the right spirit. Yes, one must answer these old discussions, if only to keep the meter ticking too. Glad to know you xdrowininghavocx. How did you come up with such a lovely name ????

Yep, there were times that I had the same feeling. But if the topic is interesting and I can relate to it, I will just answer it anyway.

I don't feel stupid, in fact sometimes I never even look at how old it is. I just respond where I think I have something to say. I often miss stuff I might like the first time around so if I do a search and see something I will respond. I try and go back to see if I get a response but if I didn't I would understand.

It really doesn't bother me much to respond to a discussion that is very old. I may have some valuable input for it. I have alot of older discussions in my mailbox to respond to. Some of them have very few responses to them also so my input may help out.

hi kethy! i don't feel stupid when responding to an old discussion. but i choose what kind of old discussion i reply to and i make sure i read the details first before i respond to it. i don't respond to old discussions that ask for things that happened within the day, "present-themed" discussions as we can call them. those that asked what you had for lunch or dinner, or what did you do today, what good things you did today, or just telling what they did for the day, discussions like that. i choose old discussions that has no time boundaries. general discussions that can be discussed anytime. like this discussion of yours. one can still respond to this after a year right. if this is still existing after a year that is.

really happy to see that many of you don't bother to answer old posts.but i think the whole point of answering somebody is you can communicate with each other, i really hope for feedback.or i would feel i'm throwing my time and emotions into a black hole. it's frustrating. so besides earning money, i do expect comment back.

You're not the only one. Haha. The thing is, though, I don't realize how old the post was until I answer it. Haha. A lot of good make-up topics are quite old, but I still love to answer them. You still get paid for them, at least. Haha. So that's an upside for things.
