Well my Yellow Tiger Lilies are opening up now. Gosh these are so bright and cheery looking. I sit out on my deck with my morning coffee staring at their bright beauty. I just wanted to share this beautiful shot with you all here. Do you sit outside each morning enjoying Mother Nature and all it's beauty? Do you have any bright yellow flowers at all? I think yellow is my favorite color of my Lilies. Close to the orange anyhow.

The only yellow flowers I ever see are on the vines on the fence that bloom at times. Right now they are not in bloom but have some very long string bean looking shoots on them. I love to sit out on my back patio when it is not too hot or too cold.

It must be some type of wild ivy you have from your
brief desription. Thanks once again for your comments
on all my photos. They are greatly appreciated by me.
I read them all also.

Ok, I just let my dog out back and saw that one of those flowers has bloomed and I got a picture, not sure if you can tell much from this or not. Let me know if I need to take more pictures to see it better. This is the only one on there right now.

I do like to sit on my porch with coffee in the morning, with hubby of course. We see mostly trees and fruit out front. He just bought me a top to put on an antique iron base for the patio. My mom had the table and chairs in her back yard, but we never used it for like twenty years, as it got ruined from the rain. I need to finish repainting the chairs, get wooden seats, and cover them. I have some golden marigolds mixed in with dark red salvia. I do love yellow lilies and I used to have some that were really lemony colored. I got too busy for many years and my yard has basically gone to pot. We are beginning to put it back in shape now. I have yellow forsythia in the very early spring. That reminds me that it is time to prune it.

Some mornings we sit out back at the patio table which faces east towards the rising sun. Then I see a large part of my garden and my ripening apples as well. Out front it is shady till about 1 p.m. On hot humid days like today was we sit out front avoiding the hot sunshine early mornings. I have a lot of transplating planned for this fall as well. Going to be loads of fun. N O T !!! Hahaha! Thanks also.

We have yellow, orange, pink and maybe even some darker orange lilies in our garden beds. I love asiatic lilies too. They are great. Many of the lilies we have are tiger lilies. When my husband cleaned out a garden bed for one of our friends he brought them home a placed them in our garden. They are wonderful.

I am in the process this fall of moving the Asiatic ones from the semi shady front of the house to the side of the house where it is sunny almost all day long. I have a lot of work moving and transplanting a lot of things to get this done. Ughhh! Lilies are the best flower I think.

Hi Grandpa,
this is very pretty and cool!I wonder if after fall and winter, they are going to come back or are we going to plant again! thanks..It's my 6th months here so trying to learn a lot of things..
I failed in my flowers and give so much attention to my garden but I will not give up..I'll try again and hope it's not too late..LOL!The only flower we have in our backyard is the pink one from the tree, I do know what's the name of it, it looks like a pine tree!

Lilies come back each year with shoots from them as well.
I started with only 12 total flowers 4 years ago. Now I have about 60 or more flowers from their spreading.

Hi GRANDPA BOB! Wow, that is so beautiful. The yellow color is so deep and rich. I would love to stare at those lilies in my garden. However, I haven't seen any lilies being sold in all the plant shops here in our area. Thanks for sharing the photo.
Take care and God bless!

I have the bright orange variety and they are just dying off. I know it's because of the heat over the past week or so. They were so beautiful, I too would sit on the back deck and just enjoy the simplicity of them. Now, I have to wait for next year, when they will return. I have to do some thinning this fall though, as they have really taken over their patch of ground, lol. Blessings1 person likes this

At home I have some very bright yellow roses that are absolutely huge. I love sitting outside and looking at them as well as my jasmine bush that has taken over the front fence (as I intended of course). Where I am now, I get to look at the redwood trees instead.

I love to sit outside several times a day and enjoy the breeze in the shade of my tree and look at my flowers. Your lilies are all so beautiful! I feel very blessed to have such a lovely yard, even though I haven't done much with it this year. Just the wonderful grass and few flowers are enough for me, for now. Much better than that horrible desert I had to live in for 30 years!

I like to sit and swing on the porch swing in the morning and drink my coffee. I have some flowers here that are pretty but I do not know what they are. They were here when we moved here. My daughter likes to pick them. I like a nice fresh flowers on the table. I have to keep her out of them most of the time. she will pick to many. @webeishere (36313)

Wow, those are so beautiful. I think my favorite flower is a yellow rose. I've always loved them. I've given them to people before but never received them in return. Maybe some day I'll meet the man of my dreams and he'll send me some...lol

you know i love tiger lilies.. among almost any other type of flower or plant... we live in the city now so when we sit on our porch our view is of the front of the neighobrs house lol.. althoug i do love to live in the country and sit on the porch and just be at peace with nature and all of its beauty... i wish more people would get out in their yards and plant flowers, but i do know they are hard work for some people who are soooo busy and also they are expensive this year!
