I'm not afraid of reptiles at all.. actually I think they're more like pets... even though i fear cocoroaches!! I HATE THEM they disguest me all the time

I also feel disgusted when cockroaches, frogs, lizards come near me...but I am not afraid of them...I could stand to see them but never be in contact with them..

I hate cocos.. they suck! I think they should be exterminated totaly! we need us a terminator some time soon.. to get rid of these intrudors!

well i have plenty of fears and quite a few phobias. i fear getting old and thus less nimble. i fear losing my job and as a result losing my home. i fear missing deadlines and therefore leaving a bad impression with my boss. there are lots more things that i fear but i don't want to bore you here.
i've got a few phobias too. i am afraid of heights, morbidly afraid. my mouth will go dry and my heart will start to race. i've ever taken my pulse at a moment like this and it was close to 150! i'm claustrophobic too. when i get stuck in an enclosed place i'll start to find it difficult to breath. i have them under control but the fear remains. i guess it's difficult to 'get over' it.

it's horrible to have these phobias, especially the height's fear, I caqn't even go out to a balcony .. and it annoys me sometimes so i force my self onto getting over it.. and go on high places..
i hate to fear something..
but when I'm not focusing on staying calm, i freak out so soon!

I do have a lot of fears. My most basic fear is a fear of snakes. IF I even see one on tv or the internet it makes me jump and I usually have nightmares that night. I don't want to travel to australia because of a show I saw about snakes there.
I'm also afraid of the ocean. I don't like the vastness of it. also the fact that there are so many creatures swimming around underneath you.. many are dangerous.
My last fear is of being alone and that no one likes me

unlike you I love the ocean!
and the idea of having many creatures swim beside me is just so cool!
I love the marine life, to dive and explore underwater..
it's just so magical to me.. especially with all the water touching me from every where!
that I can't fear or hate or live without!

Thats awesome!
I actually love water too. I love swimming. Its so peaceful. Last time I went to mexico I went snorkling in a reef. It was really cool. I was able to control my fears enough to do it.
I'm mostly scared of sharks. And there are a few very poisonous sea snakes.. hehe1 person likes this

The list grows every year! It seems to boil down to: fear of no escape route, and fear of committment. ie, driving on a highway with no shoulder freaks me out, because what if I need to pull over?? And what if I take this job, then I'm not available if something better comes along??
I miss being even a few years younger, I had almost no fears!

it's the sense of responsibility that's causing most of your fears, and most of mine i guess.. and i hope that we find a way to deal with this growing list of Oh what if!
and just live normally with a reasonable amount of caution!

you're either too lucky to have nothing scaring you, or too irresponsible to have no worries!
either ways it's good to have no fears, because once we fear something.. we deal with it wrong!

actually the ones with brains have a fair amount of fears!
these fears are more like worries or foreseeing something..
because they know it, they try on avoiding it's arrival!

but u know i remember a very wise quote says
that braveness is not that ur not scared of anything at all
braveness is when u face somthing u really really scared of
but i fear nothing cuz i have my brain not cuz i have muscles that s why

I get nervous in high buildings, but I never do when I'm on bridges..
maybe it's because there is water below, so i don't fear the crush landing!
or maybe because here are many safe points on the bridges.. dunno

I have not found anything i am afraid of yet. I am not trying to be conceided lol. But its true. There are some things i dont like, but i would die if i had to be around them.
I think for myself What i am afraid of most is that i will never get to see the man i love again. Love is Painful yet joyfull.

one of my deepest fears is to die and leave my family behind.. that would cause me pain just to think about it.. or to loose one of them

My fears are being lonely when I'm old, not succeeding, being homeless, spiders, cochroaches, lizards that are all over the windows in Florida (when I visit). Well, the lizards is more of a disgust then a fear. I am afraid of driving and getting into an accident, and I'm afraid of losing my mind...but sometimes I think that's already gone! :P

I fear whatever you fear, well except for lizards
and I'm making sure that these fears don't come true! I believe when one faces his fear, he gets over it..

My biggest fear is being alone.Another big fears of mine is being buried alive and drowning.
