We went to a a dinner theater showing Beauty and the Beast on Friday evening. In the play, one learns how Cogsworth and Lumiere came to be as well as the brick wall, feather dust, rug etc came to be. It is based on their jobs and personality, for example Cogsworth was the guy who ran the castle of the beast, he was the organizer therefore it makes sense that he would be the clock. So, if someone cursed you - what would you be? I think I would be a notebook computer (preferably a Mac) because I am on my computer all of the time and I like learning and having knowledge. Well let's hear it - would you be a piano or an ipod - maybe a ceiling fan or a furnace if you are full of hot air.

Interesting discussion!!! I think I'd probably be an alarm clock because I'm the one who is always dealing with the emergencies among my family and friends. I'm always the first there to help. I'm also the "mover and shaker" in the family... the motivator. Alarm clocks help you to get up and moving, so I guess that makes sense... to me, anyway.

Hahaha! I doubt I could ever be as, umm, "reserved" as Cogsworth!

Hi! If I was an object I would love to be a book. Not just any book but kinda like Tom Riddle's diary in Harry Potter. It would seem like a blank book but when you right a question it answers back. I would be a book because I might seem plain, silent, and boring, but once you get to know me, you'll find that Im crazier than most people.LOL! Im also full of ideas but I dont voice them out that often so that would be the asking first and I give an answer, stare at me and I stare back. Sort of like that. Might sound and look simple but truly fully loaded.^_^

I like that...I never thought of being a magical object. Still waters run deep is what you are trying to say?

Thank you..something like that.^_^ You're right about that, it has been a household name of sorts and I think all people in the world knows the name Harry Potter even if they havent read or seen the book/movie.

No doubt about it, I would be a treadmill, cause I just keep going and going, but not really getting anywhere.

I am sure a lot of us would agree with that...I always think of the hamster on the wheel..but a treadmill does sound more fitness conscious at least.

If I were suddenly turned into an appliance, I would definitely be a TV stuck on the Comic Stand-Up channel. I am a very silly person, and always like to make people laugh and entertain them. So if I were transformed into an appliance that were reflective of my personality, that is what I would be.

Cool, a comedienne in our mists. Have you considered going on stage? I like that idea, at least you would be happy.

A lot of people have suggested the same thing to me, but I don't think I can do it. Not that I am afraid of going in front of crowds, as I have even been on national tv before, its just that I get my comedy from things that are going on at the moment, what we are talking about. I wouldn't be talking to anyone, it would just be me onstage. And although I like capping on people (only things they can change, not any physical traits) I wouldn't like singling anyone out in the audience and doing something on them. I would want everyone laughing, not having one person feeling subconscious because everyone is looking.

Sometimes I have said I would love to be a fly on the wall but that would not be a good one since most people try to get rid of them so I guess I need to figure out something else sometimes huh? hahaha

I would like to be a journal or diary, that is something that people will put their most precious thoughts and will take such good care of it and keep it safe for many many many years to come. That is something that can be handed down also. I have my mother's diary/journal, she wrote in it before she and my dad were married and even afterwards. She was always the type of person to have even a date book type of calendar that she wrote in.
