Nightmare on elm street

I thought the first one was brilliant but the rest of them were just stupid. Like the one where they go through the kids dreams to kill him? It doesn't make sense!

The 4th one was the first that I saw, so it is my favorite. I used to hate the 2nd Nightmare On Elm Street, but it isn't as horrible as I remembered. The later movies are pretty much kid's movies, but I like them all.

I'm a big fan of the Freddy franchise. I understand that some of the films were a little corny, but I'm still a fan of the third one, the first one, the fifth nightmare and the last nightmare. To like horror, you have to be able to put up with a little bit of corny material.

I agree that number 2 was stupid, but I'm a huge fan of the series as a whole! I think they decided to be campy after the first, because you can't be as scary once the plot is revealed. Either way, Freddy is totally entertaining!
