You think long and hard about a topic and post and voila. You think that you're ready to go, then you see at the bottom under similar discussions, a discussion on the same topic that you thought of, not to mention, they're both done at the same day, under the same interest and almost the same time as yours? This just happened to me and it made me cringe. I mean, I don't want people to think that I just copied off of someone else's discussion. Waah... It would be interesting though how many people will be answering to my discussion and hers... Lol.

rosedust82, you know what I usually do? I'd check out my interest's first page for a topic, look for a pattern, and start a discussion that's entirely different. Never failed me so far ^_^

hi rosedust,
yeah, that happened to me several time
it is quite annoying because i thought i had star a unique and original discussions; sometimes i even thought that the discussion i started will be my masterpiece
. well, what to do? at least i don't mean to copy other discussions.

I have done the very same thing. I never copy off of anyone else either. I make my discussion uniques and it is not totally like someone elses. Alot of people still answer my discussion like it was the first one like it they had ever seen. Alot of people do not get to see the other discussions that were posted anyway because there are so many each day.

Hey there rosedust2, I never had that experience since I start a discussion WITHOUT checking whether there are other similiar discussion. I also try my best not to ask a general question and even if it has been discussed before, I try to put my story as to what led me to asking the question so that people can differentiate my discussion to the ones similiar to it. :D

That's what I do. I just found it quite ironic that similar discussions were posted at almost at the same time. It was like thinking of the same thing at the exact same moment. Hehe.
