Hey hey girl For the most part yes I did enjoy my moms cooking . On sundays she would make the best of everything . A lovely 5 course meal I also enjoyed that with my moms dinner we would always have a salad and that is why I love them so much now . There are many things my mom has made that no matter how many times I try to make it it never turns out as yummy ! Nothing like parents and their home cooking . Also , my gram used to make the best pasta , such a treat

I used to love my moms cooking. she cooked everything great. She also had a job, cooking, Over the years, I guess she got tired and burned out of all of it and just tried to whip something up after working all day. It was still good but not as good as it was when I was just a kid.

My mom was not the type who would cook everyday meal for the family. We have a helper who does the cooking and other household chores while my mom and works full time. But occasionally, my mommy would make the best flan, chicken macaroni salad and maja blanca in the whole world. Oh, how I miss her!

Sometimes my mom's cooking is so so. But when there are some guests or in some important days, my mom's cooking is wonderful. Perhaps my requirement is high. I asked my husband how he felt my mom's cooking. And he said my mom cooked well. I love China

I always liked my mother's cooking. Now that i am old enough to evaluate it, since i am a cook myself, i can say she is very good at it. I always liked her specialites, but the basic dishes she also makes them very well.

My mother was the worst cook in the world. This no joke. Thank God my father was the world best cook. He is the one that taught me how to cook. It worked out alright because they both worked so either us kids would make something or wait for my father to come home. Plus we all learned to cook both the boys and girls.

My mom and I weren't close when I was younger. We are much more closer now and get along great, but we are three states apart from each other. When I was younger, I loved her cooking very much. She tried to make meals as much as she could in order to save money, but she did a good job at making it very tasty. I loved her artichoke salad and her salisbury steak with mushroom gravy. I try to mimic a lot of her meals, but there are some that I do much better than her. She doesn't cook as much as she used to, so my younger brother misses out on that. Thanks for the discussion, it was nice to reminisce.

When I was a kid, I didn't complain of mom's cooking, I like everything she cooked, however, I had sensed that my mom was unfair because she prepared good food for my younger brother everytime he requested. Today, I understand the difference, because it was requested, so good food is prepared, since I didn't request, anything she can think of was my food.

Hi lynnchua! I really love the foods that my mom has been preparing all these years. When I was still in school, my mom would always cook food for breakfast. She would also prepare snacks for me to bring at school. I have never get tired of eating her delicious cuisine. Her specialty is our local food "Adobo", "Menudo", "Pochero", "Afritada", "Caldereta", and a lot more. We even convince her to open a restaurant because of her cooking prowess. She's really a very good cook.
