Reflecting On My Lilies

Early this morning I walked all around my house checking out all the things I have planted. I took a few photos as well. This shot was in my Lily bed out front. The sun is shining VERY brightly this morning. this bunch of Orange Tiger Lilies sit next to the yellow ones. With the sun reflecting it's rays the yellow of the other lilies seems to show on the orange grou[. I just love the way this shot turned out. Have you ever had a reflective moment like this one pictured?

Recently, I went to Mexico and did some reflecting at the beach. It's my favorite place to do that. Very peaceful and beautiful which we had them in the Midwest.

This is one of the biggest gripes here. I wished they'd fix
this so members can see the photo right away. Or at least in
the email link it to the discussion and not just to respond.

We have lovely moments out in our yard, with coffee. I love seeing what the cats do, and the renegade squirrel. The birds scold us all. At another house I had a lovely shade garden. I think I will have to have lilies next year. I planted some, too late, in containers this year.

It does look like someone painted the yellow highlights on them. I loved it when I saw it this morning and ran in to grab my camera before it didn't look this way. As I was moving the sprinkler out front I was under the bird feeder and 2 little finches kept flitting from side to side watching me. But they never kleft the edge of the feeder till their bellies were full.

Hi Grandpa Bob.
You've got the magic touch when it comes to your beautiful plants. I love looking at the pictures you took of them. I love flowers, though I'm not very good in remembering their names.
We have our own garden but unlike you, I don't take pictures of them. But I did experience having the opportunity to see the effect of the sun's rays on some of the flowers. It created a beautiful picture, and I just loved looking at them.

Thanks a lot. I also love shopwing my photos of flowers and

Well it takes a lot of hard dirty work for these but it is well worth it.
