uterine fibroid

Hi
Any body in myLot or your family member have encountered the problem of uterine fibroid? How did you manage the situation? One of my frieds has diagnosed with multiple uterine fibroid and one of them is a little bit large. Is there any cure for this other than surgery?

I have a rather large fibroid also, but I am not considering surgery. I am nearing menopause and from what I have read about fibroids they ususally go away at menopause because they are not getting supplied by estrogen any longer. I have a supplement I take OTC sometimes but other than that I dont worry about it. It is benign.

yes you are right and i have already mentioned that in my first response see there. but it is acceptable for you as you are asymptomatic about that fibroid . i do not think( although can not say without a ultrasonography) your fibroid is much larger if it is so then you must have one of the symptoms i mentioned above. and you do not need surgery as your doctor know it does not need so
