We saw the movie this week on DVD. I love both actors and I think it was an awesome movie. But I wonder how many people wait until thye are dying to "find joy". Recently my Mother is law told me I a crazy because I do wild things like roller coasters at my age. I have been doing them all my life and they give me joy and excitement. I really wonder what she would have me do now that I am turning 60. I told her 60 is the new 40, again she said I am crazy we can get hurt and never recover. She said I should just be happy to spend time watching my grandchildren grow up.... Heck no, I want to have fun WITH them. Well I can guess she does not have a "Bucket List". I do have one in the back of my head. My husband and I are slowly traveling around the world to see as much as possible. Now that are children are grown it is easier. I feel sad for those who after a certain age just really stop living, because in my opinion they are not living at all. I feel I will do as much as I can while I am in good shape. I have no ailments other than a few aches and pains now and again, but zi know 30 year olds who have aches and pains. What about you?

Good for you... i wish my grandma is as hip as you... you see, age shouldn't limit you to do things you love... sure, you may not do that often but you're open to the idea to do it again. i haven't watched the Bucket List, but the idea of it has been with me several years now... basically, i write down all the things i want to achieve.. like finish my studies, travel, earn this amount at this age, establish a business, etc. beside that, i put the list of how i am going to achieve it... like business strategy... obviously, this list is general and very broad so i make it a point to do it one at a time and short term... and everytime i've accomplished one in my list, i put a tick (check) mark beside it... that way, i feel a sense of accomplishment and it gives me motivation to continue doing my list...

Thank you, I know to younger people 60 seems old. Well do I look old? No so why act old. It is all in how you want to be. I have a friend who has been on vacation once 2-3 times in her life once she got married. Now that is old, and she was old in her 30's. I still work also and plan on working until I no longer can, but what I do is more like fun than work, at least for me.
