I always do, they way I don't forget anything, and I can accomplish whatever it is I half to do for that day. I think everyone should do it do you? Ok, have a good day! (

If you only do "half" for the day then how do you get everything accomplished?

Yes I think it is a good way to remember what you have to get and not get to the store and then say "now I know I'm forgetting something I need to get what was it?" I have done that on one or more occasions. I have a shopping list notepad that is on my fridge that I write on for things I need to get at the store. To me it just saves alot of time and aggravation.

Oh yes, I always have my 'to-do' lists! If I didn't I'd surely forget something, especially since I've had foggy thinkin' since my chemo years ago which impaired my short-term memory. I keep a little notebook in my purse with my lists in it for what to get at the store, other errands that need done, etc. I jokingly tell my kids that's mom's pocket brain, and heavens forbid that I should lose it lol. I keep a little list of meds that my pets need and when I'm supposed to give them to them (they all get monthly flea & heart meds). If it wasn't for my lists I'd probably not get a whole lot done! Wasn't on the computer yesterday...my isp was having problems and the danged thing wasn't letting me get online. I was having myLot withdrawl symptoms lol. (At least it all works today hahaha)

Hi Joy, I have been having the shakes and withdrawels to. I haven't been online since Sat. I got a bad virus and my son hasn't had the time to fix it for me. I am on a borrowed computer now, I feel calmer now, no more shakes, hehe.

I do often when we have something big coming up. Like a birthday party or traveling. I like having notebooks around for this reason and walmart has them on sale for .05 cents for school so I will go pick me up some so I can keep on making my list.

Hi Marcie! I have an *ongoing* to do list. I just keep on writing things down and crossing them off when I complete them. If I do not keep a list like this, I forget to do stuff and also forget what I have already done. LOL (((hugs)))

I have a Palm that contains my to do list, if I wrote it on paper the first thing I would have to write would be 'Do not lose or forget this list' . I have to write everything down or I forget it - even from one minute to the next.

Tried that stuff, did not work. I just have too much on my mind and do not actively think about what I should when I am doing things.

Sure honey, I does that sometimes, especially when things pop up that need to be done. They are normally for everyday tasks.

I don't do for regular chores, but have them prioritized in my mind, and will often refresh them up, once i finish a thing. And if i am to go out on shopping i will definitely make a list, and will sort out them, and in this case i wont trust my memory.

I use to have a to do list that would keep me up on things that I needed to do. More to not forget what I had to do. Like when you go in the store and you have a list of the things that you need to get. Then if you don't use the list you will forget something. To do list are the same way. If you don't write it down you can forget to do something that is needed for that day. Then it goes on the next day list. Have a good one.

I write to do lists for making my to do lists! I am a list person. I literaly make lists so I can start lists! Sounds silly or maybe over organized, but it works for me. I get it all donw. My schedule is really crazy as I keep my grand daughters, different days, different times and sometimes don't know from day to day when I will have them and since I try to combine all trips together to make the fewest trips (thanks to the high gas, but just my frugal living anyway) and on Friday, I start a list of things to do the next week. Then on Sunday night I start a list for each day that week! Works really good and satisfies my list addiction!

I love doing a to do list. It helps me organize and prioritize. I get to remember everyhting i need to do and avoid forgetting anything. It helps me budget my time and make sure I don't spend too much on one task and not be able to do everything I intended to do for that day. A to do lsit helps me know what other things I still need to do. So as often as I can, I do make a to do list all the time.

I used to but I found with my writing (broke my left wrist and my writing has not improved since)was not that good, so I rely on my memory. I picture what I have to do in my head and then I will go and do it. I find that writing things down does not work for me, but hearing and visualizing it in my memory does help. Maybe I will get one of those Nintendo things with the memory and recall exercises, but right now, I need the money for something else, like a laptop.

I write lists all the time for everything. I especially do a lot of lists when we're going on trips - I don't like to leave anything at home that I'm going to need.

I ALWAYS have a to do list. Usually I write down what I have to do for the day while I am drinking my coffee first thing in the morning. I usually wind up putting way too many things on it that i never get done. I guess I feel more organized and like I get more things done when I have it.
