You Won't Believe What The Airlines Are Wanting To Do Now..!

Stupid Airlines - It's ridiculous how the airlines think we're going to fall for all this BS for very much longer. We need to fight as a people to get results. Thinking of charging by our weight, cutting down on fuel for the planes, and making us get off before we get to where we're going and finish the trip on a bus or train is outrageous. We need to fight and we need to fight now...If anyone knows how, let me know because I know I won't be flying anywhere for any reason anytime soon.

I just found out that the Airlines are seriously thinking of one of the most idiotic things that they have ever done. I didn't think they could surpass the one where they're contemplating charging us by how much we weigh. Now they're saying that they may take us part of the way to our destination, make us get off the plane and get on a bus or train for the remainder of the trip. Can you believe that? And, if that's not bad enough...US Air is thinking about cutting back their fuel supply. I don't know exactly what this means yet. Are they talking about not filling the plane up or cutting the fuel back somehow during flight. No matter what the answer is I can guarantee that there will be alot more plane crashes. There must be some way to fight back. For me, I know that I won't be flying anywhere for any reason. I'll drive myself even if it takes days... Isn't there somewhere that we can complain as "one voice" and have the voice of the people be heard? I don't care that the cost of fuel is going up; (supposedly) actually the cost of oil is going down but it doesn't show at the pumps. Please, if anyone knows how we can in unity fight against this outrage, let me know. Okay, I've "vented" enough on that...

Where are you getting this information? It might lend more credibility if you could post a link to where this information could be found, and cut and paste a portion of the article here. I can't imagine what make us get off the plane and get on a bus or train for the remainder of the trip. makes any sense and would like to know more.

My mom saw it on her local news just last night so I'm sure you'll be seeing it on your's shortly. Believe me, if I had some tangible proof to show I would but I believe my mom told me what she saw. If you have any suggestions on how we can fight the airlines other than not flying I would love to hear your thoughts.

I think they better think up more creative options than those or I dont think they will have any passengers. I think the only solution is for the government to give them some subsidies for flying. I've heard the airlines are continually losing money so I think they are going to need some kind of goveermnet bailout like Amtrak did a few years ago.

I agree but don't think it will happen until we get outraged enough. The government seems to want to spend our money to help out other countries. They want to put more toward the War and they don't seem to want our military to come home. We have children in the U.S. that are starving also but it doesn't seem to bother them. They talk a good talk but I don't see anything happening.

We are not flying, we can still drive cheaper, and be in control of the details ourselves. We get 35 mpg on the road, can stop to use a full size bathroom and haul as many bags as we want. I feel much safer on the ground. Do not get me wrong, I did enjoy flying, but not for the prices and restrictions we have right now.

Is that just a joke?? It sounds rediculous. I just heard on the news here yesterday that in the States, they are laying off like 31,000 employees and probably will be 40,000 at the end of this year, so that might help a bit?

Perhaps it's because too much weight can make the machine to exert more and in turn demands for more fuel. Look on the brighter side of things. We can then all be healthy and fit.
