Who Has the Yahoo Messenger?

This is all so far out of my league I couldn't assume an answer! I wish you luck figureing it all out! Didn't know the two were even an working option! There are so many ways to communicate these days that theyjust get confusing to me and sometimes I just wish we could go back to snail mail and phones with cords! Oly two ways and everyone did the same 2 ways and you didn't have to rememeber who was compatiable with what and which friend had what and did your tools work with that program ... ... and which costs this and what doesn't charge that and if a friend doesn't have what you have, do you just not communicate? !!!! It was funny the other day I was on the phone - landline and a cordless phone. I was on hold and went to do something and held the phone in the old fashioned shoulder clutch and of course my face hit the disconnect button on the phone handset. Of course, disconnected and I had to dial back, and be on hold longer waiting for someone to answer in the first place! What ever happened to a hand set that was just that - a handset - no buttons or controls, just a "talk" and a "listen" end!

I have heard of this technology. I have the yahoo messenger on my computer. I think you have to pay for every message you send from your phone to someone through the yahoo messenger, though. I have never researched it.

I would call your cell phone carrier and get the info from them in writing. Nothing with those guys is for free.

I always use windows messenger on my computer but it doesn't even work right anymore. I have also tried to use the Yahoo messenger too and it took several hours trying to download so I stopped it and do not have it now to be able to help you out with this. I know another Mylotter will be able to hel you. If all else fails, call your cell phone provider or you can even email Yahoo and ask them to assist you too.

From what I understand using my cell phone and yahoo messenger or aol messenger. It uses your air time, so be careful using it during peak minutes. As well as it is considered your text messages so they count towards that as well. And also if you use it be sure that you log out, because if you don't log out you will be applied charges towards your peak minutes. That's what I know about mine anyway. For these reasons I don't use mine very often.

Ya, i too have yahoo messanger, it's easy to chat with friends and also it is absolutely free. Messaging through cell phone will cost based on regions and also we will be interrupted if we don't have currency whereas in yahoo messenger we dont have such problems as it is absolutely free..

well that is someting that you are going to have to discuss with your cell phone company i know with my phone i can use msn messanger and send emails with my telus email address for a flat rate of 15 dollars a month other service for me that require the internet cost 8 dollars a second pretty much so i would talk to your cell phone provider they may have a plan that you can add so that its cheaper to use it.

hello there marcie.i am the same too! trying hard how to get a internet access on my cell phone coz my friend in Norway even shes away from computer she still can use yahoo or anysite.when i tried to join they send me numbers or code but when i tried to down load it does not recognize so i have friend said,we need to ask in a cellphone shop to ask them help but i still did not do it since we move to Philippines soon.so i will ask in Philiipines Smart company to do it thank you.
