I'm so blue....oh wait, no I'm not

I'm sure I should be mad. I probably would be if I thought it would make a difference...but it won't. I've droped from a 10 to a 9 in two days...all because I tried to do the right thing. But I guess that doesn't matter here sometimes. I don't really mind though. It's annoying that it works this way but that's how it goes. I had my 10 for over a year and all because of one discussion it's gone. But, the good thing is, I feel like I've finally joined the ranks of all my other friends who have been in a similar situation! Does this mean I have my first stalker too?! That could be exciting. Eh, I suppose it was time for a change anyway. I mean, goodness, I have been looking at that blue 10 for a long time now. I don't much care for the color red...it is my birthstone though and since my birthday is almost here I suppose that's kind of cool! So how is everyone else feeling today? Does your star match your mood?

I got demoted from a ten to a nine for awhile and I have no idea why but now I'm back to a ten again. I don't put much importance in the ranking system anyway because I'm not here to be popular and play kissy face. I respond to every discussion with consideration of the issue and sometimes people aren't going to agree with what I post but that's my opinion and I'm going to express it. That's what discussing issues is all about. I'm in a good mood today..it's Saturday and I caught up on some much needed sleep after a rough week at work so today is a good day!

That's how I feel about things too! I'm glad I am not the only one.\\I am glad I can be a stay at home mom yet I also envy people who work outside the home, just for the simple fact that they do have scheduled days off..even if they have a pile of other things to catch up on on those days 'off'. My days just run into one another with no end and no beginning.

I have had a 10 for awhile now. I was a 10 before and then I dropped down to a 9 for a few months. I am back at 10 now, but I am kind of hovering right above the line. I am sure if I were to speak my mind about something here I would be a 9 again too.

foxy hi you joined the ranks of those who have been minused' by some unkind idiot, I had a blue for a long time too and in two days the idiot minused me to a six but I wo rked back up to an eight and am hoping one day for a nine or ten again. All because I dared to do a discussion on smoking being bad for your health. so I dont do discussions likethat anymore. too much unkindness, my skin is not thick enough.

I've just recently got to 10. I stayed at 9 forever. I wasn't sure I'd ever make 10..lol. I don't know how long it will last. I'm sorry you lost a star. Hopefully you'll get it back soon.

Well, personally, I guess I am one of the lucky ones as I have always been a "10" since they first started the star thing, and I know even though I may not always agree with everyone here on the whole, I try not to let it show either. Sometimes I feel it is best to leave things alone even in here. But I still think you are a 10 in my book, and wishing you the best as well.

As far as I know it's still blue and that would mean it doesn't match my mood. I think it's a good thing you do what's right without worrying about your star, it's just an indication and it's not neccesairly a good one. If you discuss something chances are high you run into someone some day that isn't open to another opinion and your star rating might drop. I see you are back to a ten now, I guess people are giving you plusses again because they feel you deserve to be 'back in the blue' .

I have not even looked at my star today. It has taken me a year to bring it up from a solid red to a red that is teetering on the edge of a blue. I do not think just one discussion can do it, though, unless you really ticked someone, or a lot of someones off. Did you happen to do that, and then not even invite me to come play as well?

I thought that was going to happen to me yesterday, but everything is fine now. I'm sorry that it happened to you, but glad that you are not letting it bother you. It's said that when you speak the truth and are honest that you can still be 'punished' by it though.

Since I responded to your post from my email, I didn't notice until now that you are blue again. LOL :)

Well I am red too after having been blue or maybe I'm a yellow again my ratings and my moods seem to change so quickly these days, but if I'm red I'm not angry maybe I am feeling passionate, and blue, not sad just relaxed, yellow I guess I was cheerful and white well then I was in shock I suppose at being blue then suddenly white. We all know we are perfect 10s really eh! Star system bit silly really as just because someone doesn't agree with you you can suddenly plummet but I thought it was a discussion site where we where free to say how we felt even if it did differ to others views that is what makes it the interesting site that it is. Welcome to the ranks of the pot-stirrers!! Look at it this way - at least you know someone's reading what you write!!! I went down, too, twice in the past month or so - the second time is lasting longer than the first time. Oh well - red does clash with my red hair, but heck - I've always been a little different anyway!

I pay absolutely no attention to star colors - mine or anyone elses. Well, I take that back. I do notice when someone has a 2 or 3 and wonder what in the world that person did to make everyone angry. But beyond that, I don't notice or care. I suppose it's because I started out as some "real" writer's sites, where criticism abounds and people love bringing others down, rather than building them up. I guess I acquired a tough skin from that.

Red is romantic color and blue is cool even green too.As I am redissh I romantic. But the problem is for eye red is so sensitive that it may hamper eye. so I use light colour red and some time blue too. The blue color is cooly and sky is blue . Looking at the sky is soo cool and in the open weathe in the morning its so romantic and make to feel fresh.

Your opinion is your opinion and as long as your not being spiteful and attacking someone else then i don't think that anybody should be able to change anything. That includes your ranking or color of star.
