Reheating rice in the microwave

Does anyone know how to keep rice moist when you reheat it in the microwave? Every time I reheat the rice I seem to dry it out. I have not found the right balance to get it hot but keep it moist. Does anyone have any ideas? I like to order chinese food a lot and I always have leftovers, but I cannot ever seem to get it to stay moist when I want it the next day. Thanks for the input in advance!

I always put a teaspoon of water or so in with it, that seems to work well. My son is engaged to a girl named Riley. That's a nice name! Although Riley used to be a boy's name, it fits a girl nicely, too.

Thanks! I will def try all of these tips! I am sure glad I can use my leftover rice now! My Riley is a little girl. She was going to be a Riley either way! :)

I always seize this moment when re-heating my rice in the microwave to add some fun to it....like tomatoe juice if rice & sausages,...apple juice for pork chops,..curry & water for lamb.....YOU can see the fun....BUT make sure you cover with saran..or some form of cover.....Experiment,it's fun!
