What's the messiest or most untidy room of your home?

Right now, the back bathroom is the most untidy room of the house. It looks like a war zone! Towels and clothes everywhere! That's what Mom gets for taking the weekend off! I rarely let my kitchen get messy, cause I don't like working in a cluttered kitchen! What's the most cluttered or disorganized (or untidy) room in your home?

Gosh, with 5 kids... I'd say each room in the house is tied as which is the messiest. I am so unorganized, and there are toys everywhere. I don't allow them to bring the toys to their rooms, so they are just scattered around the living room and dining room. Hmm... does the hallway count? because that's not cluttered... for now.

I use those big blue Sterlite boxes in my living room as an impromptu toy box. We pile her stuffed animals/toys into that at the end of the day. And the box slides anywhere.

I use those too, but honestly, with 5 kids... if I didn't have toys strewn all over the house, people would think there's something wrong with me

Right now its the bathroom, kitchen and hallway!! Due to having work done!! It should be like this for about 4 weeks!! Normally the kitchen is cluttered and the living room is messy!!

I would definatly vote bathroom as their is a whole lot of laundry in there. When you have a large family it's most likely to get disorganised in your bathroom every once in a while but we allways manage . Having two toddlers running around and one who we try to get potty trained that provides a whole lot of little laundry.

Yep! I can remember when we were trying to get ours to potty train. Everything was so out of place! I am hoping to get things better organized this upcoming year and put everything into a nice routine! Thanks for your comments.

I would have to say my dining room. It seems to be the catch all. No one can carry things to the place they go. They just get dropped off there.

Ditto! When I had a big dinner table all of everything got piled onto it! I was forever dejunking that thing. It looked like a clearance sale table at the flea market! A little of everything. But no price tags!

That would have to be my son's room. He is constantly in there play with his toys, on the computer, playing with toys or watching a movie. He likes to make it a mess. Right now it really needs to be tidied up. He will be doing that in a little bit.

That would have to be a tie between my daughters' and my sons' rooms. They tend to alternate the messy days. One day you can't walk through the girls area , now it is the boys area. And sometimes they will alternate a few times a day. Although they occasionally tear up my den just to give me a new room to trip around in :)

The most untidy room in the house is my office. I am a piler. I pile papers and things up to get to them later. Well GUESS WHAT LATER HAS NOT COME YET. I also have a bunch of papers thrown under a desk that need to be shredded and what is stopping me from doing that is I have to crawl under the desk and plug the shredder in. I guess I better get busy.

Hello beautyqueen26, At this moment it is my husband's computer room. I don't know what actually he is doing in this room -whether he uses the computer or he likes to mess up the room. When I went into the room a day before, I got headache right after I stepped into the room. I wonder why my husband became that lazy nowadays... He told me he will clean up everything and arrange his stuff nicely but I don't know...I couldn't clean up the room yesterday as his friend came to our house and they spent the whole day in that room.

My house is rarely untidy,I cant stand it but this is the week my grandkids are here visiting for the week so both extra bedrooms look as though a tornado has hit them along with the guest bathroom but we are not cleaning this week,(with the exception of the kitchen)were only having fun. Then it will all go back to normal next week.Have a great night

I can't say I have one room that is untidy more than another. Actually I can't say any of my rooms are untidy. But then I don't have any kids around anymore. I keep things in order so I can always find what I am looking for. Everything has a place. I am a house cleaner and am self employed and I keep my house the way I keep my clients houses. Clean and Neat. My adult daughter and I share a suite together and we work together and so I am lucky that she is the same way as me. So there is no nagging from me. It also helps that I just moved here and from another city far away, and I didn;t bring any of my stuff with me. So I am making a new start and buying everything slowly, so all I own is brand new now. Even all of my clothes is brand new. So I don't have anything that would clutter my house, yet.

Not any one of the rooms in the house is really tidy, but, I would have to say that the "laundry" room is about the messiest. I don't have a washer and dryer in the laundry room so it's a catch-all room. I have boxes of stuff in there from when I moved here. I have a box with Christmas decorations in it and the little Christmas tree is up on the only shelf in there. I also have probably 4 shopping bags full of plastic pop and water bottles. I'm thinking that one day I'll take them to work so that they can be recycled. I keep forgetting that there is a stack of newspapers in there, too. I use them whenever the toilet runs over. That hasn't happened for awhile though. Newspapers are the best things to soak up water. I don't use paper towels nor wash rags or towels to soak up the water anymore.

Must be my bedroom. Books, clothes, gadgets, shoes, socks, couple of sports goods and all thrown around like its memory game. It's not that I do not clean them. I do, but somehow they return to their state of deshabille after sometime. So I have decided to clean them only one holidays and not on weekdays, because thats the time I access almost all of the things very frequently and leave them lying around. bourne

Our whole house seems to look like a tornado went through but I think the dinning room is the worst because it seems to be the catch all room. When we go shopping what does not have to be put up right away seems to sit on the dinning room table until it gets used.

I would have to say two places and that's my bedroom because of clothes, shoes and blankets. We all use the fleece blankets when ever and where ever we are so they're not considered dirty so we put them in the bedroom to sort of hide them while they're not in use. The second place would be the office closet because I've been meaning to have a small yard sale for the past year and STILL haven't gotten around to doing it. lol

ummmm all of them!!!! I think all the rooms in my house are slightly cluttered and untidy. This is because of many things, 1) my house is huge and so more room to fill 2) I do not have many stash holes to put the clutter in 3) I hate cleaning and 4) I have lots of kids who run round making a mess and I just do not have the time to keep cleaning up all day long, plus I dont see why I should all on my own! But anyway the kids are off school for 6 weeks now, so I have already promised them extra pocket money if they help me do a good clean while they are off!

The messy place in the house is what should be a 2nd bedroom that my fiance has turned into a storage unit . He even put a little box in there . I cant explain all the junk in there . It is like he has kept all things since we moved in here 2 years ago . We only started to clean it up last week because my parents are staying with us for a bit . I am shocked on how nice it looks now , well maybe just a little nice

There is no untidy or messy room in my house. My mom and I clean everyday. We clean everything: vaccum, dust, wipe, wash, everything! I cannot stand a mess or sit in it. I feel so dirty if my house is not clean. So there is never anything messy in my house.
