The season premiere was on Friday, and I retreated to my bedroom to watch it. I liked this episode a lot and was very glad that the writers chose to tackle the hard topic of Dr. Kruger's death and it's effect on Monk. The Chopin thing was a nice twist and very Monk like. I feel like this show has been coming back from the dulldrums it entered for awhile. For about the past year it's been getting better. What do you all think?

I agree. I think he was the perfect choice for a new therapist.

I liked the episode but it was also very predictable. You just knew the handy man was up to something from the beginning.

Like you, I really enjoyed the season opener. I had missed the first showing and stayed up late (1 am) to ctach the next showing (surprised I made it since I had a very long day that included driving 70- miles, walking about 10 miles and a huge dinner). The season opener for Psych was really good too.

I love Monk and feel they did deal with Dr Kroger's passing correctly. I enjoyed seeing this excellent episode and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the season. It sure is a great night of television, as its a USA Network night.
