Do you let your shower run or jump right in!

Me, I find myself letting the shower run when Im in a hurry to get in the shower and then its like oh, i gotta go to the bathroom! Im sillu I try to make it up in my own mind by cutting the lights and light my bathroom candle. I know I do it in the Wintertime to warm it up. But for the most part in the summertime I just jump right in--it takes like 5 seconds for the water to get slightly warm and thats whats great about the warmer weather.
What about you would you rather wait for just jump right in?

It takes a couple minutes for my shower to warm up as I live in an apartment. I'm not sure if this is the exact reason, but sounds good to me. I usually start the shower and by the time I get done brushing my teeth the water has warmed up enough for me to jump in! The only time I'll get in right away is after a really long workout outside in the Florida afternoon heat when I'm just sooo hot, then the blast of cold water feels great!

Florida is so beautiful but yea, i always do hear about that humid sticky heat and my boyfriend just recently went down to visit to see if it might be somewhere we could be interested in moving, still undecided. I live an apartment building but each unit has its own water heating unit (unfortunately, it took my big closet after renovations) so water heats up pretty quick but it could be it takes a few minutes to heat up because your building is running on one water heater, i dont know myself, but your theory sounds right :)
Some people cant stand those cold showers though--hehe--but even when I take warm showers I always blast it to cold right before jumping out, supposedly its supposed to be good for circulation but i just know its feels Goood.

I normally let the shower run for a lil bit so it's not cold when I decided to get in. And it also warms up the cold bath tub floor.

Sounds like you have a tile floor or something close, I remember one of my apartments did and man I dreaded having to walk out on that, right now I have some kind of laminate or something but since its the shower is a little away from the door I have a bamboo mat and a nice fuzzy one--but somehow I got into the habit of wearing flip flops into the shower and I dont even need those.

I usually turn the water on to run into the bathtub then turn it on to the shower head as soon as I feel that the water temperature is tolerable. If I am taking a bath I will turn the water on and then put the stopper in and add bubbles or what not if I need to. I will also grab a razor or shaving cream if I need it out of our cabinet. It just depends. Have a lovely day.

In the summertime, I jump right in! The cold water is nice, especially on hot days! In the winter, I usually let it run for a minute while I brush my teeth. But usually, Im always late, so I just jump right in!
