Let's talk about our individual perceptions for ourself 5 years from now. If you're working in a company, 5 years form now, what is your position? If you're still single, 5 years from now, do you think you can get married? If you have plan migrating to other countries in the future, can you do that after 5 years from now? Please provide your individual perceptions. It can be the status of your country after 5 years or anything that you can think of. Thanks.

This question reminds me of job interviews - the guy sitting so pompously behind his desk asking the current "buzz" questions - doesn't really want to know the answer, just has to ask them to make himself look like the "new millinium" boss... and he asks "where do you see yourself in 5 years?" He doesn't care, he just has to ask it to make himself look good - well, 2 interviews I went to this was a near the end question and I already knew I didn't want the job after hearing other things, but the guy asked this question and I said "in five years from now, I intend to be sitting in your chair with my name on that little name tag plaque, doing your job". Of course I didn't get offered the job, but then didn't want it anyway, but it just goes to show they really don't want the "Right" answers, they only want to hear what they want to hear, not what you have to say or think.

Precisely, you hit the point. I heard that already and one of our seminar this question had been tackled, others said, don't ask this question because you will get offend to a tricky answers.and you hit it buddy. Well, yeah, I was only interested in your the answers just to gather them all but I was not looking for a correct one since we have our own plan in life. Thanks for sharing, seems funny isn't it?

I'm not sure how I am going to be 5 years from now. With the high price of everything and the bad things happening in the world these days, it is very hard to tell right now. I hope in 5 years, I am better off financially, but I kind of doubt it. We cannot get ahead because prices keep going up. I think we will still be working seven days a week though.
