Meeting A myLot Member Today

Sorry about your abcess problem but I know you are very excited to meet your friend face to face. I do know one person here on mylot, she and I have been friends for a long time and she is the one who invited me to this site. She used to live within walking distance from me and now she lives in a different state. I have met someone face to face that I met online playing slingo years ago. She lives close to an hour away from my youngest daughter and one time when I went to visit this friend and her two sons come and she and I took her two sons and my grandson to a wilderness park type place and had a picnic also. This was maybe 7 years ago and it was so nice to be able to meet her face to face. Have a great day.

I have never met anyone here in real life, but, there are some people I would really like to. There are so many interesting people here. I hope it all goes well, have fun.

It's great you are able to meet a friend here in mylot in person. But you are from the same country. The good thing is you are able to arrange a date with her together with your wife. It is so sweet. The next time you come over to malaysia I will be happy to be your host and a tour guide. Just tell me and I'll be happy to avail myself.

Hi Grandpa Bob, I am so excited for you and I know how you are feeling as I too have in fact had the privelege to have met two froends that I have met through being friends here at MyLot and my lunch meeting turned into four hours in no time at all and the person was everything I expected and more and their wife was adorable and he even made a discussion about me called a real devonshire beauty which was so touching. I was overwhelmed too as I thought they had planned the visit to coincide with a time they would be staying in my area anyway, but no, they drove 85 miles just to meet me, wow. The other person actually came to stay at my home for a few days as they were visiting area but couldn't get booked into a hotel but I felt it was right to offer and immediately upon meeting them knew I had made the right decision as my little son (4) took to her immediately and he is funy with people until he gets to know them and a firm friendship from both has definitely been made. Hello Grandpa Bob, well I must say you are very lucky to be able to meet a Mylot friend, sadly most of my friends live too far away from me, different continents even, which is a great shame, it would be lovely to have a big convention where all Mylotters met up, that would be fantastic for sure, but it's not geographically possible because of how far apart we all are, we did a convention in the UK for a site where we all met up, I have never had so much fun in all my life, I loved it. You will be fine, just fine and I am sure you'll be writing up a discussion to tell us all how it went, successfully! Enjoy!

No, I have never met anyone from here in person. I did met with someone online in person before, but it as on another site a few years ago. Can that count? LOL

That's great grandpa. Oh, how I wish I could meet my mylot friends too face to face. My BOF (Best Online Friend) who is also a member here have been chatting almost every night on the messenger for months now. And until now, we haven't met in person. Keep posting Grandpa. HUGZ!

I've never met a MyLot friend. But I have met several online friends. I've met one from Florida, one from Tennessee,and a friend and his wife from California. My closest friend from the Internet is from Missouri. I've met her and her wife and one of her sons several times while visiting Branson. We've gone out to eat and had a great time talking. The friend from California was in Tennessee visiting his son and he and his wife met with the lady from TN and me and my husband in Nashville where we were living at the time. It is a joy to meet so many people you've known a long time and find out what they are really like. So I know you are going to have a great time today.

Nope, I missed that chance in June, but I will not miss it next time I am near your place. I also know of at least one member who is less than an hour from here, on my friend list, and I think the next time I go to her city I will give her a heads up that I am coming. Hello grandapa bob, I want to meet someone from mylot in our city. I want to meet them in person if given the chance. I will have to search for them them and see if they are still active here on mylot. Its nice to see people that we talk on mylot and how they are face to face. here we can really find freinds for life.

I have always hoped someday to meet one of mylot friends but so far have not been able to do so. some of you just stick in my mind so that I would just love being able to meet you or Mooch, or Gabs just to name a few.Its interesting to me' to find that someof you mylotters are actually living not far from me. I haven't met anyone from here, although one person lives within 15 miles of me and is on my friend list, but several years back, I did drive to North Jersey to meet three people I had gotten to know in an AOL chatroom to celebrate one's birthday. We had a blast! I really enjoyed myself, although I didn't get home until well after 2AM - it's a long drive from there to here. And, I've even independently gone to the same bar/restaurant up that way whenever I'm up there because I just enjoyed it so much (and the prices were spectacular!) We never got together again, but a good time was had by all, nonetheless. I hope you have an equally good time with your face-to-face.

I am new to mylot. I have only been here about a month in a half so no I have not met anyone yet. I do hope you enjoy yourself and your lunch. I think it is great you made a real friend off of mylot!
