I got my own freecycle group

just for my town!!! I have been working on getting this for about a month now and now I have my group and am the moderator. This is going to be a lot of work , but fun. I cant wait to see how this goes.

I LOVE freecycle, I have even added a link to it on my Real estate website. I think it is so much easier than hauling things to a thrift shop. Plus you know someone who really needs it will get it. I am sure some abuse it, but that happens with anything. The one on Long Island is so busy, I get at least 3 digest emails a day. Good for you!

Hi there sweetpeasmom Bloody well done you. Freecycle is great and works really well. I think it is hard to be a moderator because you have to watch out for the scams. The moderator on our freecycle is very strict. He says that if you don't say the location of the item then he won't post it. He also won't let you post a wanted message within 4 weeks of the first one if it is for the same item. I started a discussion called 'Are you a freecycler' it did ok and the response was ver positive. I wish you all the best of luck with it!
