I Thought Sunday Was a Day of Rest ...

I tried Clixsense and in fact it's down for me too. Neobux comes and goes so maybe it has just too much traffic. I should have done some 'chores' here in the house today - but I've spent almost all day on here It's been such fun as it was really busy compared to some Sundays. Great!

LOL--yeah Sunday as a day of rest...sure. I only just got back on-line now...I not only shut down my computer but unplugged it from the outlet as we had really bad thunderstorms all day...so what did I do with that "spare" time? Clean. Washed all the floors, cleaned up the bathroom and kitchen..now I'm exhausted..LOL..yeah some day of "rest"

Today is my day off from work as well. Did I rest? ummm, no. I mowed the lawn, cleaned some of the house, did some laundry, did some posting on some sites and checked my email. Nope, there is no real day of rest any more.

I don't know about the US, but in the UK almost every store and restaurant are open although they do close earlier. Obviously the emergency services and military. Computer staff etc. In fact the number of people that work sundays is quite staggering.

It makes a lot of sense why websites would schedule maintenance on Sunday. A lot of people spend time outdoors with their family or go to mass, so not a lot of members would be affected by the maintenance check up. But perhaps it may also be due to less people manning the site on Sunday? Aside from the people who work at restaurants and the mall, I know that corporations don't make their employees work on the weekend. If they do, then those employees ought to be compensated or given another day off during the week.

Hi my friend, I always work on Sunday and every other day. lol I bet those sites figure that Sundays are the one day that alot of member do take the day off so that is when they do their maintenance procedures. I have come across many online workers that say that do not get online or do any type of work on Sundays. Sorry, but to me it's just another day of the week. Happy MyLotting, Char

Yeah, you must not be seen to go to the field and sweat on sunday-you will be breaking a core Mosaic law of God! But this is not to say, if your Oxen gets stuck in th mud, you must leave it there to die over night just because it is a sunday,save it, it wont be a sin!

I too believed that Sunday was a day intended for resting but i was wrong. The seventh day is actually Saturday, which is supposed to be the rest day. But here in the Philippines, we have to work on Saturdays and Sundays to fill the inadequate pay of our main jobs.

Hi me Lady, I'am working full time here in mylot too today. I've set this day as my last date to meet my minimum payout since earning update is late by two days and I'm giving my self some allowance to meet it. Unfortunately since midnight my internet connection is down. I called my ISP and it requires a visit by their tech guys. So I'm am in dial-up now. I have to do a lot of on and offline to get and post. Talk about icing on my cake.

Well, Sunday usually is not a day of rest for me. I get off work at 7 in the morning, come home and get online for a few hours. Then I get to bed by 11a.m. I'm up again at 7 in the evening, get ready for work, get online for another hour, and then I'm off to work and start at 10.

I spent the day either reading, writing an article for AC, mylotting, browsing the net, baking muffins for my grandmas wedding anniversary party next weekend (60 years) and generally being a bum because it was raining and i couldnt mow the lawn like i had planned.

Ummm....Maybe they assumed YOU would be resting today, so it would be a good day to do maintenance to their site. Lol!

yes ofcourse sunday is the day of rest. so, you have to take rest other than trying to open all those sites. :P sorry it was a bad joke. may be they just wanted to do it in their leisure time that is sunday. so sad that you could not have access for those sites. i think mylot was not down due to maintenance.

abviously,Sunday,to me,is the day to prepare for the coming new work.. Preparation of work may be not work in its true sense..but to get the information you wantted,to reply you Email and any other things else are agonising anyway!! isN"t it a king of work?

Hi friend, For me sunday is a enjoyable day.I work hardly from monday to friday and i will take rest on saturday and sunday.Again from morning i will start my work.Some times if time permits i will login to mylot site only. Have a nice day.
