Do you hang out in malls to relax?

The last place I go when I wa to relax is to the MALL!!! o way. When I want to relax iwill go to the coee shop, and hang out there with my compuer. Malls drive me nuts. There are too many people around, and too many things to sped money on. I never understood what people found so relaxing about the malls.

I spensd a bit of time at shopping malls but to shop, if i feel a little down I go shopping and that usually cheers me up a bit but i wouldn't just go to a mall to hang around, they are good places to watch the world go by though.

I don't hang out in malls to relax. The closest mall is 75 miles away. We live out in the country. If we go to the city to shop at a mall, it is for something important. So we go get what we went for and then leave.

Hi, I hate shopping malls!! I go to our local mall only about once a year at Christmas time and I even avoid that every year. For the one thing, I have trouble walking and it seems you have to walk so much to get to the different stores to buy what you need. At our mall, it has become a teen hangout and those kids have no respect. They rush around, bumping into other people on their cell phones, not paying attention. I have to admit that when I was younger in high school, the mall was the place to go. I don't think we acted like the kids out there do these days though. I don't hang out in the mall that much either... I just go there to buy some necessary stuffs or groceries. I have a lot of things to do at work, that I do some work even here at home...

I haven't really regarded the mall as a place to hang out since I was about 13 or 14. Now all I view the mall as is someplace to shop and someplace that gets REALLY busy around Christmas time it's almost unbearable. LOL I could never look at the mall as a place to relax, mall and relax doesn't seem to fit together in my opinion.

Use to go to the malls when I was younger, but now I try to avoid the malls as they are so crowded and especially during the holidays there is no way I would even attempt it then. I try to order as much as possible online just to avoid the crappy customer service and the long lines at most places I shop. I don't think of the mall as a relaxed place to be. When I want to relax I either come get on the interent and surf mylot or other sites I frequent or curl up on the couch and watch a new release movie from netflix.

I live fairly close to the Mall of America. I go there often to sit and relax and people watch. So much fun just people watching in a mall this huge. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

As a teenager I used to spend a lot of time in malls because it was the only reasonably accessible place I could go to that was near my house that had fun stuff to do. Now that I am a grown up I don't go to malls unless I am buying something or to see a movie. Our movie theater is attached to the mall.

i wish.... lol. yes i do that but not as always. i go to the mall when i need to buy something at the supermarket or at the grocery. i do that alone. but if i will just relax i would rather go to a foot spa. that would make me relax. there are foot spa that cost only two hundred pesos with free pedicure. that would be relaxing than walking around the mall

Our mall has our movie theater and many places to eat. So, when we go to the movies, we try to go early to walk around and get some exercise before the movie starts. If we go early enough, we'll also eat lunch or dinner first or after the movie, depending on the timing. However, I really don't go to the mall very often, maybe once every 3 months or so.

Before I knew mylot, I used to do it once in a while, to window shop or just to stroll around. It's not really a waste of time if I need to buy something important from there but it is if I consume the whole free time out of nothing.

After a hard days work and if I accomplished something I go to a mall to relax a little and treat myself... Its something that I do to unwind a lil. :)

i dont hang out in malls for relax i go there and purchase watever we wants and return home..

i don't hang out in malls to relax.they're crowded with people and abuzz with chatters.i can never relax in such a place.i only go to the mall to buy some stuff. to relax,i'd stay in a tranquil place where i can close my eyes while listening to soothing music.

It was a time when we used to go to malls to spend time.we enjoyed that and also bought soem things there. Now i do not go to mall unless I ahve something to buy

Hi there, Every weekend my boyfriend and i go to one of the many malls we have here in Trinidad. Our regular hangouts are Trincity Mall and Gulf City Mall because there are some big arcades there! Maybe it is wasting time and I could be using it to make money, but it's the only time I currently get to spend with my boyfriend and I love leisure time and enjoying myself/life. So yup, we go to the malls, just sit and relax, browse in the stores, play arcade games, go to the cinema...whatever we feel like. This weekend we went and played some games and relaxed, had lunch and some sweets. It was very nice.

Yes;I sometimes do that . However;not as much as some other people do .

Hanging out in Malls is a passion for me. I am always curious to see what can I find, where, at which prices, and so on.

To quote a guy who once said: "The best way to kill the revolutionary spirit is to put all people in malls." The malls give us all sorts of alternatives to what we want to express. We are pulled out of our Selves. And when we purchase something we really like, we are contented, at least for the moment.
