i think we have all heard that old saying that life isn't fair all of the time, but for me some of the time life is fair and i can't complain because i have a roof over my head and people who love me, and i am healthy i know that i don't have everything i have ever wanted and i have to work for what i do have...but i think that everyone has that same problem too and i don't really complain that much about that because i know that a lot of people have a lot less than i do and that i have no room to complain at all..but i still do sometimes when i don't think about it...so i was just wondering about all of you do you think that life is fair to you or do you think that things could be a lot better in your life and that life isn't fair to you at all...i am interested...thanks for taking the time to read my discussions and i hope that you all have a great day!

You can look at the bad in your life or the good. I focus on the good. I used to focus on the bad. My life has been much happier since I changed my way of looking at things. We all have good and bad in our lives and you can always find someone better off than you or worse off than you, so why not look at the good and be happy and deal with the bad as best you can.

Cricket, you are right. I try to focus on the good, too. Thinking positively about our lives makes them much more tolerable when we do have problems. Everyone has problems, but if we think on all the things we are grateful for, we live a much more rewarding life.

You do have the right frame of mind. I think we all do accept that there are things that is lacking in our lives, but if we try to look around us there are those things that really matter the most the ones that you loved and loved you. If you could first appreciate those things then you will see that life is really fair and sooner those that are lacking in your life will be filled up with gratitude and be happy in life. Those that really think otherwise will always remain where they are and worst they will either see life the other way around. Good point of view in there. I hope I could also retain that frame of mind myself because there are really days that are tough and would really test how strong you are.

Well, sometimes I am thinking that life is really not fair to each one of us.. Life can hurt us and always makes us miserable.. This is what I am thinking before.. But now? Sometimes I am still thinking that way maybe because of the problems that our family is having right now.. But then I also realize that in all of the problems that we are facing is because it is the consequences of our own deeds and people who are loving us also affected even though they didn't do anything wrong.. Actually, people who makes the problem are unfair because they were sharing it to their friends, and love ones.. I know that sometimes they don't mean it but since they are part of his/her life then no choice but need to experience the pain... Anyways, it is up to the person on how he/she views life..

I always think that LIFE IS FAIR! sooner or later we are going to pay or receive good or bad things from nature depend on what we did before. In otherwords, you help people in need today...for sure you'll receive wellness either directly from those you help or from the God/nature It self. It just that you don't know when the times come. The same apply to the bad thing you did.

Hello! I am new in this site, and it's your discussion I crossed first... Life is beautiful! More often it's us who make it miserable and complicated. I guess what we need is to always ask divine intervention that we may live for the very purpose God wanted it to be..."HAVE IT (LIFE) ABUNDANTLY."

No, life isn't fair. Life is short and I think we need to stop worrying about what's not fair and enjoy what we have while we have it. There are many things in my life that aren't "fair" and I have a tendency to get depressed about them at times. In fact I author a blog about depression. I have to constantly remind myself that life is short and to make the best of the life I have.

no i do not think life is fair. I think fair is a cruel lie that we tell children to make them feel better about life. However, fair is a myth, nature does not recognise it and only the dispossesed call for it blessed be

cause you're always think of what you need,,, have you ever think that you are blessed because you are living with your father.. have you ever try to look for a job? have you ever think why this happen to you? do you question God regarding your problem or thank him because this happen to you? if you want to be successful, do helping yourself.. your family and your faith are just your supporter... JESUS said, ask and you will receive whatever you need... be a blessing to others.... do some offerings to the church... God is open for what can you offer.. do it for his Glory and this will back to you,, that's one of God's promise..

I can say that life has treated me very well through out my life. I have more than I could ever ask for and it is god that has continuiosly given me the greatest things in my life so I can't complain on that. I just see some of these other peole that don't have anything and I just wish I could see them all be like us the one that have happy life that treats us fair and is good to us. I pray each and every day for these people that may get this kind of happiness wich they so do deserve.

Hmmm well really my life hasn't been all that great. Grew up in a troubled household, was married for over 20 years to an abusive husband, and then became disabled. I suppose it sometimes feels as if it isn't fair. But, I think everything has a purpose. See I believe in reincarnation and Karma. I figure my past lives would of been the "easy courses" or like study hall. LOL So now I'm getting all the hard courses or lessons in life at once. And Karma, well I consider myself a good person basically, but in my younger years I was a bit judgemental and so I figure by myself now going thru some of those things I'm just reaping what I sowed - so to speak. I could sit around and complain constantly about it all, but what would be the lesson learned in that? So instead I try to look at it all as a learning experience and hope to take the information on to my next life. (And secretly hope I'm a rich beautiful person the next time around)

no, I don't think life is fair. Some has more than anyone else, but some people doesn't have anything in this world. How can I say that the life is fair? Can't do anything about it. But that's what we have to deal with, because the more you are complaining, it will be harder for us to be grateful of what we had now.

Life give us fair opportunities, those who can't grab opportunities will complain about the unfairness of life. Becouse of their complaint, government enforce society welfare policy to form a "fair" society. Some people don't have to suffer from their laziness. It is hard to say if the life is fair or not. What's the meaning of fair? Opportunity fair or distribution fair?

life is good! - life is good
For some people life is fair for some people life isn't fair, but when you see most of the celebrities life they have faced more problems in their life and have worked hard to make it smooth and now they are really very well leading a good life what i want to conclude is it is not in our hands to decide how fair our life is given to us but it is in our hands to take it postitive and work hard on it to make it smooth, if some one does why cant we? think positive everyone's life is smooth

I guess life's almost always a challenge. It pushes us to our limits sometimes so that we have to make smart decisions. We need to be alert. We need to learn and constantly develop our capacities in order to succeed. So in a way, I think the injustices life throws our way is meant to help us grow into better persons. Those who fail to take the punches become corrupted and seek revenge or they lose hope, while those who are strong enough to conquer life and move on become successful.

Nope!!! Life is no where near being fair... But that's what makes life interesting... If life was fair, it would make it too predictable & boreing... I know I complain about it sometimes but the fact that it's not fair is what makes me wanna go out & try harder...

When I am so bored and no one accompany me,I will start thinking life is unfair for me. But most of the time,I am satisfied with what I am having now. I think we always thank god for giving what we are having and we should appreciate instead of blame or complain. Maybe sometimes things that we want do not come easy to us,but I think we should take them as challenges in our life,so that we will live a fulfilled life. I am happy with my life now,if compared to those who are critically sicked or living in poverty, I think god is treating me fairly. Cheers!

yes it is! because we're born at the right place and at the right time... others think of its not fair because of jealousy, self-pity because they feel that they are not important.. we're unique individuals and they love us because of uniqueness. we don't have to compare ourselves from others instead be friendly..
