don't you just hate it when they don't get back to your responses?

well, not exactly hate but whenever i respond to a topic i kinda expect the person who started it to get back to my response especially if there's something that i want to know more or when i differ to a certain discussion i want to know how that person would react to my opinion. sounds a bit self-centered? i don't really get back to some of the people who respond to me but i try towhenever i can. sometimes i have logged off and they respond to my discussion and it's only when i logged back in say two days after when i notice their responses so i don't post comment anymore. it's just more interesting when there's more interaction in the topic that you post and you get same interest from other members.

It feels very annoying indeed. I feel responding, commenting, sub commenting...make it so enriching and lovely. I always do that and wait for others to do that as well. Having said, this most of my friends do that makes the discussion such an interesting one!!
Thanks.

yes you should expect that and everyone should respect everyone's feeling. I try my best to response them who response to my discussion and i think it is also a duty to clarify any misconception may arise between various responser. and the author has the responsibility to remove that

i feel the same way, but not exactly. i mean, whenever i answer a discussion and ask something, i want to get an answer but i dont really expect that i'll be getting answers from those who started the topic. y? because i answer to a lot of discussions myself that i cant keep track of them all, and same for those who started those discussions, especially when a lot of mylotters responded to the discussion, they cannot answer them all as well.

I guess people just come here, reply to the discussion, increase their total number of replies and log off. I have also come across such situation many times when people respond to my discussion and if I ask themselves in the same discussion, like posting a comment for them but they do not come back forever. This is the way it is here on MyLot, as it is modern form of message board not a chat room.

To me it seems like people usually don't comment my responses. This happens so often that I usually don't check back on discussions to see if anyone commented what I said, instead I'll just answer or respond to another discussion. Personally I don't mind people not responding back to what I say to them, unless I was asking them a question as well or was wanting to know more about the discussion they began.

I guess a response is always appreciated. Not everyone though responds. I try to respond to everyone, at least to acknowledge that I've read their comment and that I appreciate their input. Though I don't respond to all right away as replies take some thinking. Happy posting, happy responding! :)
