Enjoying nature

This is a shot of some wetland plants that I took while strolling along a nature hike at Riverside-Fairview State Park in the great state of Louisiana. The plants are all native to Louisiana. There is a turtle in the picture also--did you see him? Do you enjoy taking pictures of plant life and/or wildlife?

Hahahaha! Of course I do, of most everything.
This is a whistling duck I think it's called.
Taken at a local zoo recnelty here in Minnesota.

Hehe, yeah I *know* you take pictures :) Awesome, Grandpa Bob. Ducks have some really pretty colors in them that you can only see if you are up close. I have a picture of a peacock I got this weekend. I'll have to get it downloaded and posted!! I had forgotten all about that one :)

A very nice picture indeed. I love nature pictures, but not as much as I love being out in the nature myself. I am an outdoor girl and I go to the mountains quite often to go hiking. I also go fishing alot and just boating sometimes. I love to go for walks in parks here where I live, by the river. I also love to go to the zoo and here in Calgary we have one of the best in the world. I am always outside doing something in the yard or just relaxing sitting on the deck and reading. I need to get a laptop so I can do mylotting outside too. That would be cool.

I do like to see, and photograph wildlife. It sounds like you had a nice stroll. Thanks for mentioning the turtle, I will be sure to look extra carefully for him.

Yes, I do really enjoy the beauty of nature as well as photographing it. In fact, I have so many photos taken from views I and my family were vacationing at or hanging out.
It's just a wonderful feeling to know how to appreciate the beauty of God's creation and enjoy the blessings from them.
