The biggest problem that I've yet to answer is this: I have 2 RAMs. They are both 256mb, and they are ddr. Now, they broke down. And I have no choice but to replace it. My problem is, why is it that my RAM is not completely broken, but causes inconsistencies on the memory addresses and often causes my PC to crash? How did it get that problem about memory addressing? I mean, it's whole, and my PC is still running. I found out about the problem by using windows memory diagnostic tools.

Memory inconsistencies are not always caused by RAM... it may be possible that your power supply has some problem... if the cpu and RAM does not get enough voltage from the smps... your PC may give some errors, crash or may restart automatically... First check if your ram is working on other computers... If it is.. then problem is with your power supply... Or else problem is in your RAM... If you still have any problem... Im there to help you...

RAMs usually break down due to power problems... maybe your computer was on.. when there was some voltage fluctuation or so... cant say...

No sweat, I've already sorted it out. What I want to know is what caused my RAM to break like that when it looks really fine and works just fine too.

I don't have any problems with my 4 computers. I make a point to run the security scans on a regular basis. I optimize my hard drives, clean out old files, defrag the hard drives, etc. If I do have a problem I can't solve, then my husband fixes it. I have my degree in computers and my husband is an extremely knowledgeable technician. I even built my own desktop computer from scratch.

hey... changing the audio card is not always the right option... maybe there is some problem with the drivers thats it... reinstalling the sound divers would solcve the problem... Anyways thanks for your participation....
