I don't or can't wear (insert item here) because....

I have been hearing this and various forms of this for years, and even seen posts about it here at mylot. WHAT is it you do not or think you CAN'T wear due to... oh I don't know, your age, gender, shape or condition of your body? I'm not talking about things you shy away from due to personal preference as far as likes, I'm talking about something you would LOVE to wear and just have decided you can't or won't, so you don't. What is stopping you? Do you think that people will give you funny looks or laugh? If so, does that really matter? Self confidence goes a long way in pulling off anything. Even if you're not really confident, all you really need to do is fool those around you into thinking you are. So, let's have it! What do you want to wear that you are not currently wearing? Bare all, I promise I will do nothing but encourage you! For the record, I will wear (at least once) almost anything. I'm not generally trendy, like you won't see me paying a buck to get my hands on the latest plastic dress or toilet paper handbag, but I wear bikinis in the summer, funky boots in the winter, white any time of year, black to much more than funerals, and I don't care which way the stripes go, I like stripes so I wear em.
