unbarable to walk. Does anyone have anything they've used that has worked to heal and/or make cracked feet, esp. toes tolerable to walk. I walk almost all weekend at my first job so I really need help. I appreciate any advice that you've used and has worked for you.

Try using any of the gold bond foot treatment products. They are usually sold at your local supermarket, CVS, Walgreens, etc. They also have powder, to keep your feet cool and dry. Doing a lot of walking can really cause havoc on ones feet.
Hope you find something to relieve your discomfort.

Yes, it is a foot product, that can be bought at your local market. I am not sure if it is sold where you are or not, I see you are in India.

Gold bond does have some good products. I wasn't sure if their products would be good once the skin has opened up. Thanks, I'll try anything, I have just 72 hours before my feet have to be on cement floors covered with tile for 7 hours on Saturday (with 15 minute breaks) and 5 hours on Sunday. So if their products are OK once feet split, then I can try them. Have you used it for prevention or for
after your feet were bad? Thanks

Vaseline intensive care lotion usually works well for me, and I have the worst dry skin. Also make sure your socks and shoes fit well, are comfortable and are dry. Try putting some foot powder in your shoes, and have 2 pairs of good walking shoes so you can let them air out for a day in between wearing them. I am a very frugal person, but good walking shoes are one area I believe you shouldn't skimp. Your feet are very important and you need to treat them well.
If it is because of athlete's foot, try an anti-fungal cream, once or twice a day, in addition to moisturizing, powder to stop itching, and clean, dry socks and shoes. Also, it can help to go barefoot when you can, at least for a short time each day.

Thanks.
I think part of the problem is my feet have been wet so much this year, I've been wearing shoes outside and changing them often, but I think I needed rubber boots. That's two people for vaseline, but in different forms, read above.

I hope you are feeling better by now...
I use magnet insoles and sleeping pad. PM me and I'll send you an email of someone I purchase from. It helps a lot for me and my family.

If the skin is split then you'll need to put plasters on them as there isn't anything else really until they heal or try the liquid plaster if it isn't possible to put normal plasters on. Once they've healed try either Scholl heel repair cream, it really works or even just vaseline.
There are gel cushion inserts you can buy for shoes supposedly to help but I didn't find them that helpful when I was working in shops and on my feet for hours.
The only thing I can think of is to make sure you have as comfortable as possible shoes and try and rest your feet as much as possible but it could be just a case of suffering until your feet get used to it. Good luck I hope someone gives you some useful advice.

Great advice! My feet actually do better on well-rounded rocks, walking on them strangely enough. They were great when I walked barefoot after canoeing, weird, huh?
