I was in my first year at university I have been 18 years old and I was on the stairs, when somebody arrive and push me slightly without any purpose. I missed my footing and cracked my foot on the step. I have broken my ankle, foot, toe, elbow (have a metal plate in it now, 2 ribs and my back. The prognosis for my back was I would never walk gain but with a lot of (painful) rehab I proved the doctors wrong.

I was fortunate enough not to break anything until now. I had some sprained wrists or fingers, but I never broke a bone.

I have to say I'm lucky and yes as I type this I'm pausing to knock on wood.... ....*pause*..... ....*knock*..... Because I have never had a broken bone in my life. A broken nose once, but that was just the cartilage that broke. My then 2 year old brother was setting on my lap and he for some reason decided to head bump me without any warning.

I was in a car accident and broke my wrist in 3 places. It was very painful, especially when the doctors had to cack it back into position. OUCH I was in a cast from finger tips to elbow. It was very uncomfortable for six weeks in the summer time and your arm would itch and you couldn't scratch. Afterwards I was in theapy for three months to regain my range of motion.

I have never actually broken anything, but I did have a busted nose when I was two years old. Luckily, I was a toddler, so I do not remember it happening.

Hello there my friend! I have never experienced having a serious fracture. The worst I got so far is a sprained ankle. I do not want to miss a lot of my activities just because of a fractured arm, hand, leg or foot. I am active in a lot of sports and I am always very careful so as not to get a fracture. It's good that you were able to recover from that fractured foot. Take care!

Thanks youre safe by now I supposed. I have broken my left hand, wrist. I fell on our stairs and used my left hand to support my body. I was hospitalized, cast my left hand from for about about a month, then one month on the wrist only. So far it is okay although I am still going on theraphy. I still cannot used it lifting heavy objects, but at least I can do my ordinary chores, typing and the like. Take care not to sprain again your foot. Perhaps you need also theraphy. God Bless You.

i have broken only 2 bones in my body and both time it was a ridiculous story. when i was 8 or so i was riding my bike in the garden and i rode staight into the washing line and i broke the index finger on my left hand.and the when i was about 11 or 12 we were washing a shool bus but on the roof and i slipped it was quiet nasty i fell head first off the bus and broke my right arm in 5 places. it sounds really bad but i knocked my head too and got amnesia so i dont remember the break at all just what people told me plus i got 6 months off school. so thats my sad tale...its all true

I never had any part of my body severely broken that i had to suffer for it for months. However, I had my hand and ankle sprained for a time or another but it was only something that lasted for days. I just cant imagine having to suffer for many months and not have the full use of any part of my body because of injury.

Hi,dear friend.. Sorry to hear that ..actually,I also have an accident in my high school .I can vaguely remember that was late at night when I was hurry to my school as I knew there was a friend waiting for me ,yet in the meantime I was knocked by a car or something like that.I couldn't remember very clearly. After that time I have a scar on my head ..This is also a reminder that.."no matter what I do ..do it carefully without hurry"

I have been very fortunate, no broken bones anywhere for me. I have had some sprains or pulled muscles, but that is the extent of it. I use to be someone that wasnt very active, meaning i didnt play sports or anything, so that is probably why i never had any. Now i workout at the gym and that is wehre i have gotten the injuries i have had, because of not using the equipment prooperly, but i have learned my lesson.
