I am not talking about web page or blog but real website. I want to learn anything and every thing about making own website. I need help from you guys. After taking a domain name how do you design your website and how to maintain it? How do you get advertiser for your website to make money from it? Is there other way then go for advertising to make money from your own website? Do you have your own website? If yes, how did you start it? Do you make some money from it?

I'm lost as to the distinction between 'web page' and 'website', I'm afraid. By definition, any page that's online is sited on the WWW, and therefore... Are we talking 'owning the domain' here, rather than a subsection of it? I/we've owned a domain for years, though there's no actual website associated with it of late. It's more maintained for email hierarchies than anything at the moment. Likewise, I've 50Mb of web server I rarely use, but which I have free forever, but it's nice as a backup POP server. If I have an actual commercial website, it'd be my blogspot page, funnily enough.

I have a real website ( which by the way is listed on my profile )and I can say that if you intend to make money at a website. It's not an easy task. It's a lot of hard work. The most important part of a real website and making money is content, content which is fresh and new and changing every day, much like this site. you're welcome to check out my site. It's in the beginning stages. They're still much work to be done.

I have a website, which is free host site. It is hosted by 110mb.com and free of cost. I like this site very much. The link to the site is given on my profile page. If you are opening the site you can get the link to 110mb.com. Go and see the details of the site.

I visited your web page. It looks good. I think 110mb.com does not provide you a free domain.

I have had various web sites for years. I have a personal one, which I actually haven't updated in ages, and one for my business. I think as far as the personal one goes it's actually easier to just have a MySpace page or something and keep updating that. Even though I know HTML, it was always a pain to have to go in to my personal page and keep updating it.

It the first time I have to tell you that i'm a profesional designer and i have a team for design web. If you want to create your own website you have to do it for your pleasure not only for making money. To make money you have to work hard. You have to pay a host or try some free hosts, on the other way you have to buy an domain (ex: .ro .com .net) and if you try some free hosts they add some free domains too. TO make a web site simple you have to creeate an idee and a scope for your web. To creat his files you have to know HTML language. They make for you an helper program named: Macromedia dreamweaver, he will make your htl code and you will see only the design. Fore more profesional site you could learn Phtoshop and CSS language. Fore more information you shoud try some tutorials (www.tutorialized.com) or maybe contact me and we disscus more.

I actually have three websites that I work on. Not as much as I used to as they don't make me any money. The first I did for fun to post copies of peoples emails that were fun and lively the second I did was to teach people how to make money online. The third I use is what is cookie cutter site. I own the domain and I have others working on it for me.

I used a wordpress blog hosted on a server. So it seem more like a website. Of course, a real website is nice to own. Maybe, one day, I may decide to have one too.

Yes I have not one but seven websites and all are money making. I bought my domains and then got me a server where I just pay a monthly hosting of 9.95 and then host all my domain on it and take the business from there. I have an ecommerce site, a business consultant site and many more I have done for people as well and host on the server I have...it is easy to start, just educate yourself

I actually have a couple of websites. For a while, I was making money selling digital delivery wallpapers on eBay - not a lot of money, but enough to make the process interesting to me. Some of those wallpapers can be seen at http://smileoutlet.com I also have a website, http://highlyclever.com At my highlyclever site, I am working towards direct sales of digital delivery items. I am starting by building an email list (which has a great free pdf report called "Social Network Profits" for anyone who would like to sign up...) The design has pretty much been a two part deal for me - I use a program on my computer for some of the pages; for other pages, I use the webhosting services free website building tools.

I don't have a personal website, but I do have a profile page on a website similar to MySpace that supposedly will be paying their members if they have valid referrals who are active. My business websites are sponsored by the companies I work for - where I'm an independent representative but they manage the websites for their reps. Is there a "websites for dummies" book you might be able to pick up to help you out? My husband set up a website through godaddy.com for a book he's written and it seemed fairly easy to do. I guess it depends on what you want to do with it.
