This is Sparks fault I swear it is Ok here it is On Thursday, my Son rang me, he asked if he could borrow my Car for the Weekend, if he traveled by Train from where he is working, then pick up the Car, he will return it on Sunday, stay the Night and then take the Train back to where he is working at the moment. I said no Problem, we insured him on my Car He arrived at the Station at Midnight last Night where I picked him up, he then put some stuff in the Car, stayed for 15 Minutes and then started the 3 Hour Journey home, I have been up most the Night worrying about him, as he had been at work from 7am that Morning till 7pm then went to the Station and now drove Home. Anyway he got home safe and sound at 4am. I was happy, tired and went to bed for the afternoon to catch up on the sleep. I stayed there for 4 hours. Then Gissi decided it was time for me to get up. As I needed to take him out, I got up, had a coffee, got dressed and went to the Park. My Heart stopped, my Car was gone, I started to shake, I had tears in my eyes, my lovely Car gone, Gissi was trying to pull me to the Park, I told him no, we had to go Home, I had to go and see Jo, I had to get her to help me, I needed to call the Police. We went back as fast as I could walk, on the way my Son rings me, I just burst into tears, he asks me what is up. I told him my Car had been stolen, he starts laughing, in the same minute I realize my mistake, it had not been stolen, my Son has it, I felt so stupid and I was glad that I did not go to Jo as she would have laughed at me to. My Son had a Problem trying not to laugh anymore. He said that would have been great, him being stopped for stealing my Car lol. Well I am glad it did not come to that lol as I would have felt even more stupid, My Son could not stop laughing at me, he asked me if I was ok now, I told him yes thanks and I will try to remember tomorrow where my Car is Yikes did I feel stupid or what Please do not let the Blond moments come back lol most of my Friends here know what that means. Ok come on own up who else has had a moment like that ( please, please tell me it is not just me)

I do not have blonde moments. I have MAN moments - all my 'moments' are caused by men don't you know. Just as yours was! ROFL

yep I have had them I am sure we all have had them, I had a similar experience when I was in my 20's. I was selling tupperware, I was going way out of my district and I do not have a car. I had to take a bus and my friend's son about 15 came with me because I was afraid of getting lost. The bag was cumbersome and I put it on my back like a napsack only it was really big but not heavy because it was only full of light plastic. I got on the bus, and starting talking to the boy and never thought anymore of it. I am half way home and we were waiting to change busses, and looked down for my bag it was gone, I was so scared I said oh know Steven I left my tupperware on the the other bus, I know I packed up and took it with me after I left the party, oh know what do I do, I don't have the money to replace all the stuff, and my heart was beating fast, I was feeling sick to my stomach. He looked at me and said you didn't leave it anywhere its on your back. He didn't laugh but I felt so stupid in front of this 15 year old boy. Lol.

Men always think it's funny when women have MAN moments because of THEM! Men are nasty creatures and should NEVER be given car keys and should be forced to wear high heels and lipstick and have periods! THEN we'd see how often they'd laugh at us! ROFL

LOL it would work for you twin, I don't have the excuse of the blond hair hehehehehe All is well here. We all had to adapt a little bit and I have been thinking about how we sometimes with time tend to forget the least positive things to keep only the good ones. One of the hardest things with my mom is to remember that she is actually 86 years old, because she doesn't look them. Most people we have met will not give her more than 60. So sometimes even I forget that she is older than what she appears - I think she should have a warning written somewhere like those mirrors on cars " caution, objects in mirror are closer than what they look " LOL

I have had a few moments like that.....once when I was working two jobs I lay down in the afternoon for a quick nap between positions.....when I woke up I couldn't remember what day it was and where I was supposed to be. I ran around in circles trying to check the calendar and turned on the weather channel as they give the date and time.....I got all put together and quickly got dressed and went to my second job! LOL....another time I had set the alarm...got up and started getting ready for work. I was just about to get dressed when I remembered it was my day off! I think sometimes I am a little over tired! LOL

Oh trust me, you aren't the only one with those kinds of blonde moments. I remember years ago when my husband always drove me to work on the way to his job. This was normal routine. Well he was out of town for a few days and I had to drive myself. One day I clocked out, and went to the door where I normally waited for him and he wasn't there. I waited and waited, finally tried to call him, couldn't reach him. So I sat on the steps for almost an hour getting madder and madder. Then a coworker went out and said bye. A minute later she came back and said "isn't that your car parked right outside?" Boy did I feel stupid. I'd forgotten I'd driven myself to work. I'm always having blonde moments. Just the other night I asked my son how my grandaughter was enjoying school. He paused, and said mom its summer, there is no school. DUH.

Dear Gabs. I am sorry sweaty but that is funny. I was telling my husband about it and he and I both agree you and his mother are two of a kind. I am glad that your car was safe and that it was all a mistake. Having your car stolen is not fun I have had it happen to me. Take care dear. Lots of hugs.

I think we all have moments like this from time to time. And it seems to happen more and more as you get older. You just got to go with the Flo, and learn to laugh at things when it turns out you just forgot where you put it, or who borrowed it sometimes. You may not have been laughing about it then, but there will come a time when you will be able to laugh about it for sure.

LOL Gabs dearest something like that happened to me a week ago Friday. My kids have been to camp and the youngest one was supposed to be home Friday(at least i had the day right). They were due to be home the paper said to pick them up in Greensburg 11:30 , well i was sitting in greensburg at 11:30 a.m. Guess what Brain F*rt p.m. was when they would be there. They have been going to this camp for 7 years , i should know by now they are never back before late at night.

You do not have to be a blond for this to happen. Three weeks ago I took my wife's car to fill it up with gas. I then decide to go to the Market. When I came out with the groceries I could not find my car. I walked up and down the rows and almost went back into the store to use their phone when I spied my wifes car. It suddenly dawned on me that the reason I could not find mine was because I did not drive it there. I call them Senior Moments.

I am so sorry I had to laugh. I do what to say we all have had blond moments. I think some are just scarier than others. One of my dumb moments was when we where on vacation. I had a 500 dollar prepaid visa card. I had put it in my camera case and forgot that it was in there. We went to dinner and the camera was in the hotel. When I went to pay I did not have the card with me. I did could not find it. I looked through my purse, my pockets, my jacket pocket. You see that day we had gone to the grand canyon. I just knew it was in the grand Canyon. We had other cash to pay for dinner it was just I did not have the visa card. I was almost in tears. I thought and thought and thought actually worried through dinner and then remembered where I had put it. In the camera case with my ID. Because I did not want to carry my purse so I put my ID and the card in the camera case and left my purse in the car. Man was I glad I did not lose the 500 dollars in spending money.
