Why haven't I heard from Associated Content?

I submitted a couple articles over a week ago, and haven't heard anything from them. They said the articles would be reviewed within a week. It's been longer than that. They usually will let me know if an article wasn't accepted. Should I keep waiting, or should I just give up?

If you look on the forums, average turnover at the minute is 10 business days, i.e. two weeks. And they're taking that long at the moment, too.

No probs; it's worrying when they take so long, but they are backlogged. They've gone right up to the ten days on some of mine, but they do get back to you. Oh, and there's a banner on my profile here, but you can also go through http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/140733/dave_simmons.html to get to my AC profile :)

hi Bd200789! Is there any way for you to write them and ask about the status of the article that you have submitted from them since it has been delayed already? or maybe that there are a lot who have been submitting their articles too and they are just busy reviewing each one. I think a couple of my friends are having the same problem. they say it should be fixed shortly. I would just hang in there if you can because they are working on fixing the problem. My friends work with them alot and they are trusted.

Maybe they are just backed up or something. I wouldn't give up, I think they let you know if the article wasn't accepted anyway. Good luck to you!

That happens to me too. Its just a waiting game, you wrote the article just sit back and wait. I know it might be driving you crazy but just hang on Rebecca they will get back with you and then you'll get the page views, I know I'll read it.

Check your content and your account if you get it published they leave a note about why it hasnt been or what changes can be made. It only emails you if the content is published.

You don't have any choice really - you have to keep waiting! Now you've sent the stuff, you can't un-send it ... so they'll let you know when they're ready.
