If I'm in the mood yes. Many times I'm not in the mood. If the person is close to me yes always. Its good to try to help others but you have to be careful about it.

in my opinian advice can only be given to a person who is junior to you,how can you give advice to your parents and grand parents???.never take advice from any body whether he is senior or junior.just listen through one ear and leave it through another ear.just listen to your soul and heart.

see, if you do not listen then how can you advice. first listen properly and then advice. but do not give wayward and high profile advices. give realistic advices which can be carried out. the most important thing is check out if he is out of trouble or not after following your words. company is always a reassurance for a troubled person.

Yes, and I believe we all should. This is because I believe that if i help that individual out, someday, someone or maybe that very same person would hopefully return the favor. Even if you don't get the thank you or kindness and approval back, you would still be a better person as a whole knowing that you have helped someone out through his or her hardships. And believe me such a feeling is very exhilarating. Help others, spread love. That should be our motto. medicguy

hi riyasam! when a person tells me his or her problems, i listen and give advice. it depends on what kind of problem he or she is suffering from. if its a problem i can relate to, or something which i have experienced or knowledge about, or something i have an idea of, then i would gladly give an advice to the troubled person. but if its something which i myself wouldn't know what to do, then i would prefer to shut up and just listen. sometimes, listening is enough to help the person in trouble. sometimes, its better not to give advice especially if the problem is too complicated to handle.
