There are very less sport lovers here in Mylot

I've been here on Mylot for about a month now, and I've observed one thing. There are very few sport-buffs out here on Mylot. I am totally crazy about sports and would want many discussions on sports being started here on Mylot. I think sport-lovers are either not a part of Mylot or they don't speak much here. It would be much better if sports were also discussed here on a large scale.

i believe that depends on what kind of sport you are into. usually i only start or respond to discussions that i am very familiar with or been monitoring. i played basketball and volleyball but never been posting or respond to any of those sport here. i did make some discussion and respond to some thread that i didn't played at all but i am very much enthused with them. i really don't know why there are just a few discussions but i think what you see is what you get already and there's a little to discuss about it? unlike the other topics that needs some sort of discussions but not sure either.

sounds true but individual preference matters as well. and if you noticed in the make extra money of how many post are there and to discussions involving life matters. people tend to give more emphasis in this discussions coz they can relate more and express more basing on their experiences. whereas in sports, you can only make comments on what you see unless you are there playing. the point is, it is just, i think, much easier to make comments on those topics or discussions that you have first hand experience.

Yeah, sports doesn't fall in the category of debate and surely will get less responses. I think that's why people don't start such discussions. I personally had started some discussion and the responses were very dismal with some going with no responses. But, if you're a fan of a particular sport, I don't see anything stopping you from starting a discussion on the topic.

I would love if there were some realy hardcore sports fans here on MyLot. I am maybe the biggest sports fan here. I am on my way to answering every sports question on the website. I think it would be great if all of the sports fans started making discussions, so we could really increase the sport talk around MyLot. It would be great both for my entertainment and my wallet. :). Anyway, who really wants to answer questions about life or making money? Really? :)

I love sports too. But I only play them and not watch much. The only sport I love to watch sometime is Soccer. It's a very interesting sport and I like it very much. But I think I have to disagree when you say that there are not many sports buff. It's just that most of them follow NFL, and we do not have that in India. Varied sports interests make lesser discussions.

Yeah, but I have not seen any NFL discussions also being posted here for quite some time, let alone world-wide popular sports. I would request sport-lovers to start some sport-related discussions too.

I have noticed the very same thing!! I am a huge sport buff myself. I play them and watch them constantly. What sports do you play/watch? Any particular favorite team? I hope we can get some sports discussion going!!

Surely why not, I am sport
. The responses people give here for topics of sports are very dismal.
Yeah, I love to play and watch soccer. I also watch tennis and am a die-hard fan of Formula 1 and English Premier League. Arsenal is my favourite team in EPL. What about you? And calling on all sport buffs to contribute more to sport talk.

Hey, that's cool
. We all are sport enthusiasts here. Why don't you start a nice discussion on your favorite sport. Count me in for the response.

Maybe, I am not so experienced as you here, but I have seen very few discussions on sports here, and so I was concerned. But I will initiate many sport discussion here from now on. Be sport and reply to them, though.

I love to watch football but it's only the big teams that get discussed here. I started an interest for the SPL (scottish premier league) and Hibernian my team but there is no one to discuss these with and I don't have much interest in the EPL.
I think one of the problems is that there are too many general discussions and also until you find others with the same interests then the discussions stay at 0 responses, which is disheartening.

Yeah I agree some of my sport discussions are still at zero responses and it feels bad. But loving the sport, may also bring in some discussions like strategies, type of play, etc, etc. It need not be according to a region or a set of regional players.

hello rajeshfgh
I am the actual sport lover.I think many feel like sporting too.so i am wondering whether or all sport lover don't like to spend the time to face the computer.if not, we will see there are many mylotters respond the sporting discussion. But in fact, it is not.I also found this problem several days ago.Because when i mentioned the sporting problem, there are only a few people to respond. So i think more people here spending their time on net don't like the sport a lot.It is only my opinion.lol
good luck to you,

Maybe it's true. Either they are out on the field or glued to their TV sets and not interested in becoming members of networking sites like Mylot. But, the existing members surely must have atleast some sport lovers if not die-hard fans and they must surely start some discussions on sports.
